Andy Varejao Returns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How about 'Hairoff' night , featuring Wild Thing and Allen?

At this point of the season what does it matter?

It's the perfect opportunity to see if you can find a diamond in the rough G-leaguer. The team has enough injuries to give him minutes and aren't playing for anything.

OKC is basically fielding a G-league team at this point but they might actually come out of this season with a couple extra long term rotation players because of it.

They need a lockerrrom guy, not another dummy who's looking to stick by shooting too much. Too many young guys already... that's why we are in this mess (that and injuries)

Who have we brought in this year though that can actually score? I feel like that is a big part of the problem. We have a huge hole with guys that can actually create for themselves and score. We have 2 in Garland and Sexton.

So many of the current guys are suppose to be good locker room guys from this team but it seem like one bad locker room guy can up end the whole room at anytime.

Trying to at least attempt to fix the play on court would fix alot of the locker room issues. Just try to make strides forward to becoming a better team.

Thomas is that guy. They are giving him some run now. He was scoring a lot and has a couple hot shooting nights.

I agree with weeping willow here. They need somebody to diffuse the tension, not someone wound up and scrapping for their career. We have enough of those already

This article makes it sound more like a PR stunt than to try to help the locker room. My guess is the Cavs are having trouble selling tickets even with reduced capacity.

Prince could possibly be that additional scorer. I'm torn between liking and not liking him as a player, but he sure looks to score and sometimes is quite good at it.

If they had such a prospect waiting in the wings to trot out there they would find a way to get him on the floor with the varsity. Bottom line is we've already brought up the guys with any potential, and they're already getting minutes on our injury depleted roster.

I dunno. He has been pretty up and down. I assume he is gone as a nice expiring who can play.

Prince got slightly over paid, but he makes 11 mill with ideal size and athletic ability for a combo forward. For his career he shoots 37% from 3, but he has brought that up lately so we can call him around a 39% 3 point shooter or so.

He takes bad shots inside the arc though, isnt as good of a finisher as you would expect and he is very inconsistant, some nights he looks like one of the best 6th men in the league, other nights he looks like a 16th man.

He is what he is to be honest.

Well, we were supposed to have a 3rd head to that young monster but he threw soup at the GM because a guy who....

was given his locker, so he's now off stuffing folded 20's into Houston area thongs and dropping 50 on the Bucks.

But anybody you find in the G League isn't coming in here and adding much in terms of scoring long term.

They are signing him to a 10 day contract and probably will be able to get an extension for a few more days until the end of the season. This is what I would consider to be a more genuine goodbye tour than the sham one-day sign and retire deals we sometimes see. Does it foreclose signing some G League player for a look-see? Maybe, but I can see the value in rewarding him and the fans in bringing him back. Is Z still a special advisor to the team? Maybe they can both come back? :chuckle:
