NFL Draft Day 2 (Rounds 2 and 3)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not sure Stanton makes it. Not sure Felton makes it either. They could go with 3 TEs too.

This team will have a FB though... Also Felton I think is a nice gadget guy to mix into the offense...

Not sure they will have a fullback tbh. It's not going to be the same offense as last season.

About the FB?
Yeah.

They are carrying Stanton right now, and 2 TEs. as currently constructed, the Browns are looking much more likely to be more spread out next year than previous years.

They might take an H/Back later in the draft (Heyward) but otherwise? This, I think, might be the offense they want.

@Lee its happening . gif

I had to watch the draft on delay. I never scream, i litteraly screamed in excitement at this pick. I think he is a good deal at end of 3rd. He is a slower big possession receiver who runs an incredible route and great hands and jumping ability.

I think with Watson, he will do well.

We arent going to be the passing offense they were in Houston even with Watson... why have Chubb, Hunt, DJ combo and have a 60-40ish split passing to running? Its going to be closer to 50-50 and with a scheme running and blocking as well, not having a FB doesn't make a ton of sense...

Now that being stated, Bryant has played as a FB before, so you could see someone who has a multi purpose like that. You will have plays with a FB, cause I feel not having a FB with our RBs, would be a mistake in my mind. Now, if we used like a Bryant in a bunch of roles, since he could play FB, TE and WR, then you don't know exactly what he will end up doing. I can see something like that. Also the 4th round should have a bunch of TEs so if they went TE with one of the 4th round picks, then had Bryant being a gadget floating between positions, I can see that happening as well. I just think they will have some sets with a FB listed cause of the fact we aren't going to pass as much as Houston did.

I hope Watson can adjust the play at the line of scrimmage for the best play over his stats since that way I think we have the best offense available. So every setup has a pass and run option cause of who we have and then Watson adjusts at the line as he reads the defense...

No it isn't. And it would be a massive mistake to be closer to 50/50 when you have a QB who completing 70% of his passes for 8.9 YPA the last time he played.
