Feel like this was some super obvious shit. Gonna be a stud.
The Steelers are simply better at dealing with problem children than the Browns. They are so super strong in their foundation.

Besides being able to slide in as third receiver in an already stacked receiving corps, Pickens was, to me, the best blocking receiver in the draft.

I don't think Pickens has anything to do with damning the Browns draft. Our first pick was made with him already off the board. You know, David Bell was WR3 in the initial depth chart. Hakeem Grant and Anthony Schwartz were lower down back when everyone was healthy. Let's see what Bell can do before we damn the Browns draft.

I do expect Bell to play that big slot role decently, and I definitely think he starts there this year. I don't expect him to be as good at getting open, or at YAC, as Landry.
Yep, which is why I chose my wording the way I did.Well yes and no.
The Browns opted to trade out of 44 and Pickens went 52, so they *could* have taken him at 44 if they were so inclined.
Berry chose multiple bites at the apple (and came away with Emerson, Winfrey, York with those picks) over just standing pat and taking Pickens.
So that's how I think it should be judged. Will those three provide more value than Pickens would have alone? If so, it was worth doing.
I know Pickens has provided a lot to be excited this summer, but some of that media praise is a distraction from so many reasons the Steelers are declining overall. Their QB and offensive line situations are a mess. You hate to see it...
Pickett looked just fine last night. Albeit against the 3s but he was decisive and his arm looked good.
