I think it's not so much that Ajbaji is a can't miss prospect as it is that he's exactly the kind of player (rookie) who is a centerpiece of their plan, i.e., they're aiming to be contenders 3-4 years from now. Lauri's on the list because he's already an all star and is likely to still be really good in that timeframe.

They should trade Mark. He has been falling back and its only going to get worse. He doesn't help the rebuild and indeed will stagnate it.

lol, being named a "all star" is as hollow now as being a "all pro" in the nfl. The Jazz need to be tanking. Going 38-44 every year is a recipe for disaster.

I think everyone should ignore what you read from NBA insiders and ONLY pay attention to the insights posted here by FUTUREDOME. He is the Adrian Wojornowski of RCF. Except better!

I'm surprised there aren't more rumors about Cavs or other teams trading players certain. Just seems quieter than usually. thursday is the deadline right?

So who do you guys think get traded? from Cavs or other teams.

Dylan Windler has to be going somewhere right??

as odd as it seems, I'm going to agree with FDome on one thing. Utah is going about the rebuild wrong in one way. If they, or anyone else, is going to contend for championships, you have to have a superstar. That guy is not on their roster right now. Markk is good - but he ain't that guy. Middle of the pack drafting, which is where they are today, is also a long-odds place to find one. They have enough pieces and assets that maybe they can work something in the future, but the road they took this season isn't getting them anywhere unless they get very, very, lucky. They have a ton of 1st rounders, but when you look at who they came from, they are highly unlikely to be lottery picks.

I don't think any moves will be made or should be made. Unless you move love. I'd be ok with that.

Might be a quiet trade deadline this year for the Cavs? Gansey is the GM now, which means he makes the calls?

I put something similar in another thread but I don't see the upside in keeping LeVert. LeVert isn't going to get top dollar from the Cavs and he can't really showcase himself while on the Cavs if he stays for another year. We have better options that make his skill set redundant.

He most likely is going to get an offer that involves a more prominent role on another team while it could be less money than what the Cavs offer, the ability to showcase himself to try to lock in a bigger long term contract will be there for him on a lot of other teams. The Cavs are probably one of the worse situations for him to showcase his skill set.
