The Cavs have lost by 20+ two times in the last two seasons combined and zero times this year thus far (15 point loss being the highest).

They have been down by a lot over the last few seasons but more often than not, they make a game of it.

Pace and defense is the major factor and in an era where three point shooting can create large point differentials, it's actually pretty impressive Cavs have kept the 20 point losses nearly non existent.

In 2020-2021, a 72 game season, the Cavs had 17 losses by 20+.

JBB deserves some credit.
We don’t get blown out. We blow close games, instead. I guess it’s progress, in a WAY…

We’re gonna have cap space next year. They might value that more.
I thought that, if we don’t trade LeVert, we have to replace his production with a MLE player. LeVert isn’t worth what we pay him, but he does more than a MLE player, no?

Thought this was interesting to think about. Should be a few trades the next couple days then a lot on Thursday.

An average of 12 trades/year, at the deadline? I’ll be god-damned. I never realized how much activity happened at the very end.

They should trade Mark. He has been falling back and its only going to get worse. He doesn't help the rebuild and indeed will stagnate it.

Danny Ainge might not view Salt Lake city as a place to tear it down and rebuild from scratch. Star players don't seem to want to stay there. I think they could just be looking to sell off pieces to gain enough assets to go after the right players in a certain window.

They might be able to trade for 2 stars to add to Laurie and some of their other pieces to make a 2-3 year window to hopefully win a championship.

Sure. It’s also incredibly unrealistic to expect a team as young as ours to not blow some close games in an 82 game season.
A HALF A DOZEN. In the last few minutes. And it wasn’t just the young players doing stupid stuff.

Fedor says Mitchell's recent slump is because his groin isn't right yet. The staff has talked to Mitchell about sitting games out, but he still wants to play unfortunately. He's not sitting the all-star game out either.

Soft tissue damage does not heal until you abstain from the activity that caused it. If he's not going to sit.. is this the Mitchell we will be seeing for the rest of the season?

Smh. How long does this type of injury take to heel? He’ll have a few days off during the all star break so at least he’ll have some time off.
