2023 Game #1 | #3 Ohio State @ Indiana | September 2nd, 2023 @ 3:30 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
There’s no way for MHJ to finish top 5 for the Heismam with this level of QB play. He’ll still be a top 5 pick though.

Not great. That’s for sure.

This Simmons kid is awful. The play calling hasn't been good either. Leave Brown in there and let him throw the ball.

I’m not a college football guy but decided to watch OSU games this year.

Seems like I picked a bad time to start following the team.

I know we’ve only watched a half, but to the people that have followed the team, how’s it looking compared to last year with Stroud? Because this is pretty rough.

That’s not targeting?

Hopefully that’s just a stinger for MHJ

Time to take the training wheels off...this game counts

Awful doesn't begin to describe how horrible Simmons has played so far. McCord looks like a MAC level QB. The offensive play calling has been questionable. The defense has continued last year's trend of not being able to get off the field consistently on 3rd down.

First half of the first game, so I'm not going to freak out at this point, but that's what I've noticed so far.

Stroud, Fields, and Haskins came in ready made to play. McCord looks like he needs game reps. Having to start with a big ten opponent hasn't helped him. Most Ohio State QBs gets comfortable playing against MAC teams as a starter.
