You really have the potential for a very big "small lineup" doing that. Here is my huge "small lineup"

Levert
Emoni
Wade
Damian Jones
Mobley

1 guy who can't shoot. 2 7 footers, 2 6'9 guys and a shrimpy 6'7" guy

Maybe if Caris can tread water at the 3 for spurts but our other wing options lack the requisite ball handling if we think Emoni can’t immediately contribute there. Hopefully he can be a secondary ball handler, as I think his pathway to filling bench minutes is a lot easier if we can mix his minutes at both spots.
 
I really hope he gets some regular minutes in the first couple of pre-season games. Sometimes they are more realistic than the G-league. Many G-league games are just chucking the ball. Not much passing.

Out there. If one of Jarrett and Mobley is there too you are good. You could put Wade at the 3 too.

Seems like we have a ton more versatility so it could be

Jerome
Bates
Caris

I am also not convinced Bates is too weak even though he is thin. We haven't seen him targeted or abused on defense yet. We need to see more.

I'm sure there are stout 3s out there that could take advantage of him but they have to account for his shooting and length too.

Just going off summer league because its all I know, but I was actually shocked at his court awareness and activity on d. He may not be totally NBA ready, but the speed and physicality of the game was no issue for him and it was supposed to be his biggest weakness
 
Fedor says Strus will start at the 3. I'm assuming LeVert will get the remaining minutes. Not sure where Okoro fits in. I think LeVert will also play some 2 behind Mitchell. Garland and Jerome will split the minutes at the 1. I don't see where Emoni gets minutes at either the 2 or 3.

JBB likes a 9-10 man rotation which I'm guessing will be Garland, Mitchell, Jerome, LeVert, Strus, Mobley, Allen, Niang, and Wade, Jones, or Thompson.
