2023-24 Season | Game #27 | Rockets @ Cavs | Dec. 18, 2023 | 7:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Didn't Delly like get hospitalized over doing this too? I mean I drink I shit ton of caffeine but I could not imagine drinking I am guessing a hot coffee and then trying to play lol lol lol
Delly have such an intense effort out of a less athletic body and wasn’t conditioned to play more than 20 minutes in the previous 82 games + playoffs before Kyrie went down in game one against the Warriors.

Mitchell is a small guard who plays a fairly reckless style of basketball and gives up his body regularly driving to the hoop with a lot of force. He puts a lot of stress on his body the way he plays and he's not built like LeBron. He's probably 60 pounds smaller and running into the same trees with the same type of style and impact.

Distinctly, he is NOT Fred Van Vleet and does play like him at all. One guy takes way more punishment than the other over the course of a normal game.

And I still think it's goofy Udoka just played FVV like that on a back to back when he's their most important player by far.

If someone can't see why we shouldn't be playing him 26 minutes in a row, multiple games in a row, you're just arguing for the sake of arguing.

Credit where credits due, JBB is holding this team together so far through the injuries. I want to move on from him as HC, but he has found a way to get the reserves to step up.

Wow….high praise for Sammy coming from AC comparing him to the Logo, Jerry West

That's just flat out coaching malpractice. Guys should not be playing long extended stretches. It kills their effectiveness at the end of games and increases wear and tear and therefore risk of stress injuries. Jbb already ended Ricky's career. Don't want him to do it to another player
He what? Ended Rubio’s career?

Which of our injured this year are related to the too many minutes?

Caris maybe?

is one player (and i am not saying it is only one) not enough to support my argument?

the systematic issues are a problem. houston was 2-9 on the road, and mitchell played 29 straight minutes through overtime to barely beat them. it's not sustainable.

porter played fine today, and built the lead, could have spelled him for a few minutes.

I'm not sure I've ever seen Mitchell get several step back 3s blocked in a game.

Who are we fooling? The man was tired. You get CPJ in there in the 3rd quarter. This aint rocket science.

First of all, I prefer we move on from JBB and have said that for a while now. Late to the party? Sure. I’d like someone with a more proactive modern take to offense than JBB

But oh man, I also can not wait to have a new coach to see where people assign the blame for every single aspect of every season, game, half, quarter, and play without the boogeyman to dump it ALL on.

Although. let’s be real, anything that goes wrong in the first 9-12 months after he’s fired will still be put on him.

This is also sort of a night mare for some too, especially if JBB can keep this team together while the guys are out...
