2023-24 Season | Game #61 | Celtics @ Cavs | March 5, 2024 | 7:30 p.m. | TNT

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
In the last two minutes Garland missed a free throw, fouled Porzingis on a layup with the Cavs down by 2, resulting in a 3-point play, and was responsible for two turnovers trying to force the ball to Allen who had Porzingis on him.

Darius did a lot of good things tonight but he fell apart in the final two minutes, making ill-advised passes, committing a dumb foul that could have lost the game, and missing a huge free throw.
If we would of lost in the final 2 min it would of been all on DG shoulders, he fell apart in the last two minutes. DG was force feeding Allan when Wade was blistering hot, was he jealous??? Dumb Dumb Dumb decisions

I really wish @jjvors put down a line and let people bet with him LOL
LOL! Never! I only bet on sure things. Everything is a probability and a subjective opinion.

Although, tonight I might have made money.

Being a serious fan is often a matter of irrational confidence and hope. I am looking forward to watching DG over these next 3 games. It's up to DG, JA, and EM to ball out. Merrill will get good minutes to let it fly.

Let me remind you of a time when we thought everything was doomed. In mid December, Garland and Mobley were out for 4-6 weeks and we should the Cavs might slip into the play in. They went 17-1. That's why they play the games.

I'm trying lol
I guess I called it, kinda

I still want to know why that play by Tatum wasn't an offensive foul. Isn't it always an offensive foul if they kick out like that to draw contact?
I think Tatum's leg movement was actually natural for a shot fading away from the basket like that. Zarba was basically saying it should have been a no call. And I agree.

It would be the most JBB coached team, to be forced to play a bunch of reserves that he otherwise would ignore and win a game they were otherwise expected to lose.

The national media will talk about this game and the 18-2 stretch as examples of him being in the coach of the year discussions.

I’ve seen Kendrick Perkins say this and one of the lady commentators said it right before tipoff of the Knicks game.

Now this is a genius pregame post.

I know it was a turnover but on review, the lob to Allen was a great read by DG. Porzingis made an incredible play.

The other bounce pass into Allen was inexcusably bad
Upon rewatch, I agree with this.

This is that please fire the coach body language right now if we’re keeping it real
Fan projection.
Common, I do it too. We all do at times

If the Cavs players wanted JBB to be fired, they would have let go of the rope after the Portland loss. Or when Mobley and Garland went down.

They wouldn’t battle the way they did against DAL or tonight.

Doesn’t mean he’s the right guy, but projecting our own opinions onto people’s body language, whether on tv or in person, isn’t it

Cavs percentage points behind the Bucks for 2nd. A win tomorrow ties them. Who has the tie break?
