Already ruled out Sunday

JBB clearly decided TT or MM were not viable options against the Pacers. It was strictly JA, EM and GN at the 4 and 5, even when Evan had five fouls. Maybe he thinks they’re too slow against the Pacers.

We need to lose Sunday and stay in the 4 seed. I don't think it's likely Philly gets to #5.

Jarrett Allen is so damned cute. In the post-game interview he said "This was a full team effort, a full arena effort." Knew he had a big game in him when I saw him entering the arena in a well-worn Star Wars tee.

I know he's frequently incoherent but I'm cherishing what may be some of our last games with Austin Carr in the commentary chair. Don't know if Brad will come in permanently or something else, but Mr. Cavalier is just a legend. A true fan, organizational icon.

Donovan is back! 33 points, 5 assists, 4 steals! That was the difference.

Nothing soft about Jarrett Allen tonight; 29 points on 14 shots! And 13 boards and 3 assists. Sweet!

Strus was just 2-for-10 but he had a huge offensive rebound that led to a 3-pointer and drew a foul on a 3-point shot. He chipped in 9 assists.

I thought Garland was playing like crap but he was a +3 and made a huge 3 over Siakam to give the Cavs a 5-point lead in the final minute.

LeVert was +11 with a line of 16/6/5 in 27 minutes. Nice game by Caris.

This was a pretty even game except for the 3's. The Pacers were 9-for-32 while the Cavs were 13-for-32. A 12-point advantage in a 9-point win. Garland was 4-for-5 from deep and that was the difference.

Monster win as the Cavs rise to the occasion and win the last two minutes. Everybody contributed, although Niang was 3-for-8 on 3's and missed some wide open looks. And Allen needs to work on his free throws.

Wait, what if IND, PHI, and ORL all win?

I want to be wrong but I feel it’s just a matter of tightening it down to 8 guys only for the playoffs

Fine with no TT and CPJ in the playoffs

But concerned we’ll see no Merrill and Morris and that bothers me

Mobley 12-5-2 with a block in 29 minutes. 5-6 fg Got 5 fouls which held him down.
Allen 29-13-3 in 38 minutes. 13-14 fg JYD player of the game Get him 15-20 shots every game.
Mitchell 33-4-5 with 4 steals in 38 minutes. 12-27 fg, 4-10 from 3.
Garland 16-2-4 in 29 minutes 4-5 from 3. He's deadly from distance. Take 10 per game.

Bench: 32-12-5 Short bench tonight
LeVert 16-6-5 with a steal and a block in 27 minutes
Niang 9-5-0 with 2 steals in 27 minutes. 3-8 from 3.
Okoro 7-1-0 with a steal and a block in 25 minutes.

I think it depends on matchups. Rightly or wrongly I suspect Cavaliers coaches thought TT and MM couldn’t keep up with the fast Pacers. (Niang isn’t fast either or course). Against other team MM and TT might get some run. Obviously Wadecwould be a much better option.

The matchup issue applies to Sam as well. Against playoff teams I not sure he can hang. We‘ll see.
