2023-24 Season | Game #81 | Pacers @ Cavs | April 12, 2024 | 7:30 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If the Knicks, Cavs, Magic, Pacers and 76ers all win Sunday then the top 7 will be

1. Celtics
2. Knicks
3. Cavs
4. Bucks
5. Magic
6. Pacers
7. 76ers

That seems like the likeliest outcome at this point.
If we could somehow get HCA as a 2 seed and play ORL, IND, CHI or ATL while the Bucks or Knicks play Philly & the Celtics play the Heat....things could be WIDE open. I'm talking Okoro 2023 open.

Thank you! This is ideal for me lol

Boston - Miami, NYK - Sixers, Cavs - Pacers and Bucks - Magic would be awesome.

Celtics fans would be scared shitless of Spo and Butler LOL.

Knicks v Sixers would be a war. A bitter, brutal series. I would expect a lot of fights at the games.. Moght get rough on the court as well.

The Magic upsetting the Bucks and Doc would be hilarious.

Pacers would be a good matchup for us.

Knicks are home against Chicago - that's a win.

The Magic are at home against Milwaukee, the Bucks have lost three straight, and Giannis is out. Magic win.

Indy is home against Atlanta - that's a win.

Philly has won seven in a row and gets Brooklyn at home - that's a win.

So if the Cavs beat Charlotte they get the 3 seed and HCA against the Pacers in the first round. The Knicks get the Sixers and hopefully they get knocked out in the first round. If we can get by the Pacers we would get NY or Philly.

Wouldn't it be great if we beat the Pacers in five games while NY/Philly goes seven with Brunson and Embiid playing 44 minutes every game? Whoever staggers out the winner would be fried for the next series.

Just got back from the game. The first game I thoroughly enjoyed from beginning to end (attending). Spida looked very close to himself and JA had a day! If he could replicate that kind of play for the playoffs, I'll be very satisfied. DG hit a big 3 that sent the arena into a frenzy with like a minute left. I felt confident about the game the whole way through. The Pacers went on a run but we answered every time. I'm still not super confident about the playoffs since we clitched tonight but we'll see.

Off topic: on my way out the door I bumped into Dawand Jones and spoke to him briefly. What a massive man.

Do you mean Damian Jones? Or the football player? I’d guess they’re both pretty massive in person

BTW Toppin got away with a downright egregious palming violation when he oddly hurt his foot/ankle. Was I the only one who saw that?

  • You read the box score and you see 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block for Evan Mobley in just over 29 minutes, and you’re relatively unimpressed. But, you also miss plays like these where Mobley is able to take Pascal Siakam off the dribble, take him into the post and show his touch in the lane.
  • Quickly after that, Mobley has a dribble drive assist to Jarrett Allen and then comes up with an impressive block – all of this within a minute stretch. These are the type of stretches where Mobley shows how impactful he really can be.

JBB clearly decided TT or MM were not viable options against the Pacers. It was strictly JA, EM and GN at the 4 and 5, even when Evan had five fouls. Maybe he thinks they’re too slow against the Pacers.
I think it may have to do with reps for the primary rotation.
