And Kobe may have come through in the gold medal game, but you can't seriously tell me that LeBron, Wade, Carmelo, and Chris Paul couldn't have won that game. If Kobe wasn't so damn selfish someone else would have taken those shots and won the game.

Dude then it's a good thing he was selfish if he one the game. Your saying that he shouldn't have taking those shots and should have risked a gold medal?

Normally I'd look at such a thing as dumb and unnecessary.

However, every conference finals game that the Lakers have won, we have lost the following night. On the other hand, every conference finals game they lost, we have won the next night. And seeing as though damn near half of the website changed their avatar as a superstitious offering to the basketball gods, one more good luck charm wouldn't hurt.

Oh, and I have money on DEN - 4, so go Nuggets, indeed.

P.S. that was a dirty ass trip by Jones and if I was a Lakers fan I would be irate. Surprising that they missed that, although it looked like the closest referee was blocked out by Kobe so he didn't see Jones move his leg (thinking it was an inadvertent tie-up).

You have no idea how happy I am we only have to play him twice in the regular season now and don't have to go through him in the east anymore. When this dude gets it going he fills it up with the best of 'em.
