Save it -- you got owned by foolishly asserting something before reading your own posts. I'm done with you for now. As you said, don't waste my time, particularly by trying to cover your exposed behind with a weak argument after about three people who weren't me pointed out your mistake.

No more posts on the Lakers and Kobe in this thread for me. If you want schooled again, it'll have to come in a different thread and at a different time.

Schooled in what way? Making your case in a Kareem>Kobe argument is hardly any more difficult than MJ>Kobe. It's not schooling when the point you're making is pathetically easy in the first place. You're not honestly proud of that, are you?

With that said, I'll try to stay away from Lakers-related discussion as well. What I don't understand is why Rose wouldn't make it painfully clear to Lebron that he wants him. There's really no logic behind him saying he'd prefer Joe Johnson. I hope Windy is right about this, but most of me believes that it's a big misunderstanding. There's no way Chicago could really be so dumb. They already messed up when they told Lebron they won't deal with his posse, now this Rose thing is making it way too easy for us too keep Lebron on the Cavs.

Keep doing what you're doing Reinsdork! :chuckles:

Sorry if this has already been posted here:

Mike Miller, candidate for King's court?

Mike Miller is headed to Cleveland to play with LeBron James -- in James’ Nike Skills Academy basketball camp.

And no, he won’t ask him The Question.

"If he shares with me, he shares with me," Miller said.

Where James decides to play could affect Miller’s next team as well. The free agent shooting guard who has made 40 percent of his 3-point shots during his 10-year career could be everything from a perfect shooting component to play alongside a star such as James to a Plan B playing a bigger role for a team left on the outside when the first wave of free agents sign up.

Miller has already sat down with the Heat, Clippers and Knicks, three teams with an abundance of salary cap space. Yet he also is amenable to signing for the midlevel exception that starts at $5.9 million in the first year, "because it means I’d be playing with a good team."

That would include the Cavaliers if LeBron returns. Not only is Miller tight with James he’s also friends with Antawn Jamison, who was traded to Cleveland by the Wizards last season in the post-Gilbert’s Guns breakup of the team. Cavaliers general manager Chris Grant put in a call to Miller at the onset of the free agency period, and Cleveland remains a viable option for him.

His immediate plans are to get there Tuesday and "get some runs in and play with LeBron."

And after that?

"Sitting back and waiting like everybody else is," Miller said.

LeShaq I saw you use this guy during the Amar'e Safari, i'm pretty sure he was wrong about Amar'e coming to Cleveland..

I'm not too sure if he's really credible. Please convince me otherwise..

Who?

This blows my mind if it is true. A website would be a tremendous way to talk and gain fans all across the world. Someone dropped the ball on that one. The Chinese would eat that site up. Include a link to his merchandise = huge money maker.

Didn't find a picture, but here's an article mentioning it:http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/basketball/news/2003/04/25/lebron_draft_ap/

In one of the paragraphs in the middle it says:
James, wearing a gray Air Jordan shirt, stood in front of a large banner emblazoned with "LeBronJames.com." He said there is nothing yet on the Web site, but that it eventually will hold information about James, the only three-time winner of Ohio's Mr. Basketball award.

Maybe the the three players have decided where they want to go and the three know. Bosh couldn't list Cleveland as a primary destination because that might hint that Lebron was returning and kill the hype. In this scenario Wade seems to be left in the cold but I'd look for Boozer to go with him and maybe try to sign two players with the remaining cap space (whether he goes to Chicago or Miami).

I'd prefer Bosh and JON/Brad Miller instead to be honest. It'd be even better if we could move Shaq for Childress as well.

You do realize getting Jefferson will take one of Andy/JJ, right? It's not like we're getting him for free.

Yeah I understand that. Specifically why I put Andy/JJ as in Andy or JJ.

If we can land Miller and re-sign Shaq, who do we go after? Still no legit second option..
Antawn Jamison's 19 points per game career wise, and 20 points per game(15 with Cavs), last season isn't worthy of a "second option" kinda guy? He also averaged 45 percent with Washington and 48 percent from the field with both teams last season.

Age card will probably be used to argue this, but he isn't showing signs of age with the way he's produced the last two seasons.

Obviously he isn't no Pippen, but he can put the ball in the basket..

We can talk about it more later, if you want. I'm game. Just not going to do it here and losing interest in it right now.

Windy said on the radio yesterday I think If/when LeBron re-signs the day after will be the busiest day of Cavs season with trade talk/Free agency/S&T.

Schooled in what way? Making your case in a Kareem>Kobe argument is hardly anymore difficult than MJ>Kobe. It's not schooling when the point you're making is pathetically easy in the first place. You're not honestly proud of that, are you?

For the love of God, just fucking drop it!

Nobody fucking cares.

I just read through 40 pgs. About 5% of the posts have been useful. It's just like people have been posting whatever pops in their heads.

I really don't think Bosh is coming. He has been the absolute worst in the FA frenzy. Talk about someone on an Ego trip. He's posting pics with DWade at dinner. Demanding sign-n-trades. Wanting to promote his "brand". Whatever that means. His name and "brand" are getting old.

the samamico tweets lost all credibility when he said Kobe had class and loyalty towards his organization.

Mike Miller would be nice. If we get him, you can bet Candace will be shipped out with other assets for a 4/5.

You realize this is David Kahn we're talking about, right?

Oh my god, kill the stupid Lakers talk in this thread for the love of GOD!!
