I love when Pluto writes like that. His "thinking to myself about the......(insert any Cleveland team) articles are great.

Your first point was Bosh's random tweet.

You took a leap into the unknown that it meant something.

Then, your second point, seemingly nothing to do with point 1 is that LeBron and Wade are staying home.

This leads to your third point that Bosh wants to play with Wade.

And somehow, after saying LeBron is staying home, you see him leaving. You defeat yourself in your own post.

If the Cavs can't get another piece to stop Wade/Bosh, LBJ has little reason to stay in Cleveland. He can go to New York and play with Amare or go to New Jersey and build up a dynasty with solid ownership. l

Chris Broussard on ESPNEWS now looks like he is about to pass out, in straight zombie mode.
Just predicting outcomes, I don't think he remembers what all he has said today.

What is the fascination with NJ? They were a crap team last year and haven't done anything to change that.

Even if such a trade did happen, which it won't, Chicago still can't offer two "True" max deals, i.e. 6 years, plus the extra raises each year. To do that, they would have to have the assests necessary to complete two sign-and-trades, which they don't. At the end of the day, Lebron, Bosh, and Wade will not take anything less than a "True" max deal. No matter what the various ESPN fanboys that attempt to pass as journalists want, this is the reality.

So where does that leave us? Well, as already stated, Chicago is out of the mix. New York, and New Jersey too. Which leaves us with Miami and Us, both of whom only need to complete one sign-and-trade deal. Personally, it seems pretty clear that we have the better assests to complete a sign-and-trade, but Toronto might want the better picks and trade exception that Miami can offer.

So to wrap up, please people, stop worrying about what Chicago or New York is doing, because they will never be able to get Bosh. Also, if you look at the facts, there is pretty much no way that we lose Lebron, which was the only thing we wanted out of this offseason. But with that said, we are in an incredible position to get a serious upgrade and even if we don't land him, I am very confident that the Front Office has a strategy to improve the roster.

Thanks, and sorry for the length.
here it from a bull fan who knows some pretty good/knowledgeble chicago journalists that tell this deal is on hold. portland has accepted it. now the bulls are only going to pull the trigger if they get a commitment from wade or lebron. if not they will keep deng. but this is from sources i know/heard of which is not certainly guaranteed. but i will say jerrod bayless is a great pickup

And don't forget the offensive juggernauts known as Bill Walker and Toney Douglas!

Terry Pluto is hard to take seriously when he writes like that.

Seriously... the guy has been phoning it in with these ridiculous pseudo-conversation columns for years. I can't believe anyone still reads it. I like the guy and I think he's a writer, but he's clearly just bored at this point in his career.

supports your opinion. Hickson has long solid career written all over him, by what my eyes tell me.

I just have trouble trading Varajeo and Hickson when they were almost 100 percent behind some of our most important wins this season.

When we beat Orlando in Cleveland without Mo, there VJ and Hickson were picking up the slack.

When we slaughtered LA in LA, there VJ and Hickson were playing great.

When we almost beat Boston down by 20, there VJ and Hickson were taking over for Shaq who had earlier sunk our team into a giant hole against them.

Im telling you Varajeo plus Hickson for Bosh is not going to bring us to the land of milk and honey.

Did you mean Wade/Bosh and the 10 scrubs splitting what's left of Miami's cap space (17 million)?

WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?Build a dynasty IN new jersey........OK.

SOmeone needs to ban futuredome. I know people have their opinions, but he clearly sounds like an un-informed Knicks fan.

As seen above, the Knicks will be sporting a starting line-up that consists of BILL WALKER, TONEY DOUGLAS, and EDDIE CURRY. Off the bench comes..........um.........that guy over there?

I see where this is going, and it's going to end in personal attacks.

I know we all want LeBron to make a decision already, but let's not jump into "the sky is falling" type of arguments... all it does is rile everyone up, then the moderators end up with dozens of reported posts.

Futuredome, it might be time to go outside and shag some fly balls, shoot some hoops at the park... whatever gets you away from panicing in front of a computer monitor.

I agree with what you are saying if we are sticking with the Cavalier mindset of the recent past of "Championship or die" every year. The difference between Varejao/Hickson/Delonte and Bosh next year is negligible in our chances of winning a title.

In theory, though, LeBron and Bosh form a foundation to build on for the future, both being so young. For Bosh to get max money he would have to sign a 6 year deal. In theory, LeBron would do the same. It may not be easy because of salary cap flexibility to build a sure-fire championship team this summer after trading away all that depth for Bosh, but in those 6 years we sure as hell could attract a ton of talent with a LeBron/Bosh base.

Unfortunately, LeBron has given no signs he plans to sign for anyting longer than 3 years, once again ruining the Cavaliers' long-term planning and probably putting them in the "Championship or Die" mode once again.
