Getting crushed 31-16, but Turner is driving to the rim like a machine.
Does anyone even care?

Boilers almost lost to Minny....damn.
Robbie Hummel went down with a knee injury. Could be done for season. Shows our mental toughness, we came back on the road against Minny. A team possibly good enough to make the dance, without arguably our best player. Great win for Boiler Nation. Proud of their grit. Dont think grit will be enough against MSU on Saturday. Hopefully the home crowd pulls us through and its MCL not ACL so Robbie can be back for the dance. Without Robbie, we have no final 4 chances.
Without Robbie, Purdue has no elite eight chance either. It's awful. I do think Purdue beats MSU at home on Sunday though. I hope not, but I think they do.
Ohio State will be a definite sleeper in the tourney. Whenever you have a player like Turner on a team, that team always has a chance to go a long ways as the player can literally take over games. Minnesota should have won last night.. they blew it. Without your best player, Purdue will have a hard time in the tourney.
I agree on all except beating MSU. We do have 3 best players though, so that should help. Johnson and Moore will have to step up in the tourny to make a run. The hardest part will be replacing the size. After Johnson, we have Bade. A very inconsistant Freshman. No one else is over 6-6, although we have a couple of other freshman at the 6-5--6-6 range in Barlow and Byrd. Plus Grant is 6-6. That will mean we will have to go even smaller and really have Johnson be the only size out there and bring Bade off the bench some. You can get away with this at the college level. We were able to beat one of the biggest teams in the nation in Minny.
Also, for my money, Turner is the best player in the nation and will be the best pro. I think Wall is a bit over rated and I am in love with Turner's game. Just thought i would throw that out there for you guys since i am not biased.
I am hoping its a mild knee sprain. Purdue is going to need Bade, Byrd, or Barlow to really step up their game. Keaton Grant and Kramer were excellent in the final 10 mins last night.
Just get Robbie back in 2-3 weeks is my hope.
Moore and Johnson can carry a team, but they need Robbie to carry them to the final 4.
