#185 - Caleb Brantley, DT, Florida

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He had every right to punch a woman in the face, but that doesn't mean there isn't a moral right and wrong here.

I don't care about the minor legal ramifications, I wouldn't touch Joe Mixon for the same exact reason.

If you're a 280 pound football player, you don't knock out a women half your size because she's trying to fight you.

Dig your heels.

You read that differently than anyone else.

She didn't sustain much of an injury at all. She exaggerated that so she could sue.

He did push her away, not punch. If a 300lb athlete punched a 130lb woman in the face, she would have been severely injured, she was not.

You are believing the female, but the prosecutor said her story was inconsistent and had zero evidence to back it.

STOP BELIEVING THE GIRL'S STATEMENT, SHE WAS LYING.

In the actual response to the 911 call, police asked Brantley if he wanted to file victim paperwork and he said no.

This was a non issue from the jump.

I truly do hope it's bullshit, but I've seen enough entitled athletes or even males in general do some pretty heinous shit under the guise of soft laws on abuse against women.

Typically this is correct, and Brantly had "character" issues because of the laziness, but in this case he did not abuse a woman, this is proof the woman lied.

I just think you need to back off the stance on this one, it was a lie. But, the laziness thing is fair game.

I am sure Sashi did his homework, there was even a tweet that said we were one of 4 teams to look into it.

Take it easy on him guys, he has admitted defeat by not replying.

There is no evidence to ever know.

The police report doesn't say he didn't punch her, and I sure hope he didn't.

Example 979 of why people should never dig their heels in on a terrible take.
God fucking damnit

I even spent like 5 minutes looking for the post in the Indians thread

Got to be quick when roasting AZ I guess.

It said his story was credible, hers was not.

He didnt punch her, but I know this is the rarity.

Based on everything I've read, it sounds like she had it coming. She was shitfaced and started hitting him, and all he did was shove her away. Seems like a downright reasonable reaction to someone hitting him in the face.

And he called 911, not her, and he was the one considered the victim at first until she filed a complaint, with no evidence against him btw.
