There should be a league rule that if you lose by 58 POINTS....AT HOME....IN A PLAYOFF GAME....that your team is automatically eliminated from playoffs and the league. Each player should also be suspended for next season. Byron Scott should get publically flogged by season ticket holders.

PREACH

Hornets should just rebuild the team after this, I heard that Allen Iverson was available :chuckles:
Ship Paul off somewhere else. Even though i hate them, i think he would be good in Detroit.

Okay, so we know that the Hornets are really, really bad...

Can the Nuggets take the Lakers?

I feel so bad for CP3. The due is such a competitor. He deserves better, a lot better.

He's a great player but he sure doesn't deserve much of anything in a game where he played 36 minutes and had more turnovers then points or assists in 36 minutes of play.

If Bynum is unable to play or ineffective, then the Nuggets can definitely beat the Lakers.

Nene vs. Gasol
Martin vs. Odom
Carmelo vs. Ariza
Jones vs. Kobe
Billups vs. Fisher

I'd give the Nuggets 2 of those matchups (Carmelo and Billups) and I'd say Martin and Odom are probably pretty much equal while the Kobe win the other two matchups. However, I really like the Nuggets' bench: Smith and Kleiza provide good scoring and Birdman brings a ton of defense. Anthony Carter is a pretty good backup PG who plays good D.

Man, NO is really falling apart. Last year they appeared to be a team on the rise. With the acquisition of Posey, I thought they'd be even better. It is pretty obvious that they have financial issues with that whole Chandler trade fiasco. That is a team that could really use more home games in the playoffs.

David West is a bum.

They have David West on their team. One shouldn't expect so much success. Chris Paul can only do so much while West is doing everything he can to systematically destroy the hornets.

That 58 point ass beating should have counted for two games, we need the Nuggies to smack the Lakers around a little bit, I think they will too. This ain't your mommy and daddy's Denver Nuggets..Chauncey has them playing spurts of defense and JR Smith is an offensive juggernaut off the bench.

New Orleans is in good shape right now. Lets see if they can keep it up for the whole game.

Everytime I watch Chris Paul I marvel at his awesome passing ability but find myself screaming "SHOOT THE DAMN BALL YOU'RE WIDE OPEN".

LOL so true Cee. he's a master of walking that fine line between staying aggressive and keeping others involved.

Us losing @ NO early in the year feels like 3 seasons ago.
