Ray Allen wasn't the biggest problem. The biggest problem was Paul Pierce's not just poor, but selfish play for the last 3 games. He'd get in the lane and think of nothing but trying to finish over guys that he had little chance of finishing over. He'd take multiple bad shots a quarter and didn't play any defense on anyone. Hell, you saw what they thought of his defense tonight. They decided it would be better to put Brandon Bass on LeBron for most of the game, while hiding Pierce of Battier. But even that was to much for Pierce, as he lost Battier over and over.
