You know what give It up for your Indians, well everyone except for as In the above post I do not want to say his name as I am staying positive and saying It will make me angry. Anyways give It up and the future looks good. No one expected this and lets face we are one "middle of the line-up" power hitter and a right fielder away from winning the devision next year. Good job Indians for keeping In It and giving us something to cheer about and Lets hope the Browns and Cavs can at least feed of you guys! Well done see you next year... except for you know who.

Couldn't be any prouder of this team, I figured we'd get this far next year, not this year...now, onto the off season...Perez's money coming off the books, potential trade of Asdrubal that frees up 10 million more, prospect of adding a middle of the order bat, do they re-sign Smith or Kazmir or give a QO to Ubaldo, potentially locking up Kip, Brantley, Masterson longterm, anticipation of Lindor making his debut, etc....lot of fun story lines to be excited about...as always, still waiting for next year.

Seems like it would make more sense for the DS to be 7 games if they just want another revenue maker.

There's just too many moving parts in baseball to have an entire season hinge on one game.

All in all great season but man, the baseball playoffs are so damn hard to get to.

I hope it isn't another 6 years until we have one of these threads again.

He likely wouldn't see full time duty until later in the season, if that even is the plan.

I know he shot up the system buy they'll be smart with him. Either way, Asdrubal has one year left.

I'll admit it's kind of one of those ideas that looks great on paper but "meh" in practice.

All it really does is screw up your pitching rotation, giving a further advantage to whatever team the winner plays in a short series.

I suppose it's easy to complain about it when you're on the losing end but it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

It is what it is though. When you score 0 times, I suppose it doesn't matter what sport or format you're playing in.

Yeah well that Is true and I thought about that. While I would have LOVED for the Indians to win there was no way they were getting past Boston and Detroit. Even more so with the depleted Pen and extra games. The Rays have a shot though because they are great on the road and Price and Cobb Is one hell of one two punch. While I know It was not only Shap who voted or made this happen I remember reading he was In favor. What I do like about the one game play off. Hopefully It pushes this team to win the Division more so. Also good to see the players get the big game experience.

I will be honest seeing how far this team came now and If they add the hitter and closer we need this team Is destined for great things. Remember this Is Tito's first year here and our young cores first taste of a big game. I am positive they will learn from this and know what It takes to be great. For the future sake of this team this loss can be a good thing. Just check my Sig It could be true In this case.
