2013 Season Finale -|- Indians @ Twins -|- September 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He blew 5 games, 3 of which the Indians ended up winning. Blaming Perez for the terrible record vs Detroit is dumb.

While I don't disagree, you also need to remember that he blew the first game of a crucial series against the Tigers, where they ultimately got swept. I really think that loss in particular sent them spiraling out of the division race.

Either way, who cares now, it doesn't make a difference at this point. This team doesn't go as Chris Perez goes, and this is coming from someone who has made his dislike for the guy well-known throughout the year. He's just one cog in a much larger machine, and the Indians were able to make up for his shortcomings, in addition to others.

Let's just be happy that regardless, we once again have October baseball.

Hearing Salazar is on a 80 pitch limit.:chuckles:

If this doesn't prove Indians fans are bandwagon frontrunners then i don't know what will.

I'll be there Wed! 2nd row, upper deck, on the 3rd baseline. Look for me guys. I'll be the drunk one!

Considering Texas doesn't have to do any traveling, I think they'll be at an advantage for tomorrow night's game.

Tampa has to travel from Toronto down to Arlington...about now, wouldn't they? I don't think they'll do an overnight flight with a game this big.

Also have David Price, though.

Alright guys, who would you rather face? Alex Cobb? Matt Garza?

For reference on Cobb, he beat the Tribe in the first week and pitched really well. He is solid.

Garza, meanwhile, has not re-adjusted to the AL well. He had a great start in KC, but has been shit for the most part.

Given the Indians propensity to grind pitchers who lack command, I would prefer Garza.

Projecting to be a warm evening Wednesday night, probably in the 60s, with a high near 80 during the day.

Either one, I'm just thankful were not facing Price or Darvish.

I think Tampa is the better team, so I'll obviously be rooting against them.

Either way, great position for Cleveland to be in. Hopefully both bullpens get used for several innings.

Are tickets for Wednesday sold out on the team page or is the site just experiencing super high traffic right now? I know tickets were available for presale but didn't want to jinx it.

EDIT- Just read the last 2 pages and it looks like it's sold out. Was getting the same error message as soon as we officially clinched.

Guess I'll just Stubhub it tomorrow.

Looks as though they are sold out. If you can get them, you'll barely be in the stadium.

I decided to pass on WC tickets and went home game 1 of the division series. Sooooo, everyone can blame me when they lose Wednesday.

I think Rangers are hotter and I feel like they're due to beat the Tribe... but Garza is the sexier matchup. Gentry and Rios are playing well in the lineup.
