There's game pretty much.
Still, 2-1 to start the year against a team that's supposed to be pretty good isn't bad. Masterson and Ubaldo pitched well, Myers kind of sucked.
Offense seems to be for real right now. Interested in the Tampa series now.

The fact that our top 2 were already better than we thought still means something. I think Myers could be the odd man out in the rotation but we do have good replacements in Carrasco/Bauer. I think it's actually encouraging and I think we have a chance for pitching to keep us in games more than we thought.

The important thing to take away over this series is our offense can compete with the best of them. We had 14 hits tonight. Our defense is as good as advertised. Each one of our bullpen guys did more or less exactly how you expect they would do. It was really Myers that let us down, and he either needs to improve over his next couple starts or he'll be out of here.

Anybody upset over the result of this series needs to lower their expectations a bit. Sure, we should of, and could of won tonight, but you can never complain about winning a series. Especially on the road.

Myers is going to be up and down all season, but he will prob be the guy that gets moved for Carrasco and then Dice K, Kazmir, and Bauer will be rotating for the fifth spot and fill in days. Depending on how Bauer does sat, and the extent of Kazmirs injury I would hope Dice K gets a shot.

I don't know what happened man. Wore the same shirt I wore for the first two games, listened on the radio, sipped the finest Sam's Club water. Not much more I could have done.
