2014 March Madness Tournament Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I had them losing in the elite 8, so that hurt a bit, but the rest of my bracket looks ok so far, only losing Ohio State and Oklahoma so far, and I had both of them losing next round.

Arizona, on an average night, is the best team in the nation. The problem is that they have little room for error because they don't force a ton of turnovers and the loss of Brandon Ashley hurts their scoring depth.

Yeah, I've got them in the final 4. Then again, I had Nebraska in the sweet 16 and they just got smoked by Baylor, so what do I know. Arizona is really good, though. I don't think many teams will be able to hang with their defensive intensity. If Creighton has a game where they don't miss from deep or Wisconsin puts up a battle in the elite 8 it could happen, but even without Ashley they've got to be the favorite out of the West by a fairly wide margin.

I wouldn't sleep on Oregon either. Whatever team comes out of the lower half of the west should be pretty battle tested.

I didn't pick them to beat Florida, but with the way Pitt just destroyed Colorado, they could take out Florida imo.

Don't sleep on Tennessee either apparently. They're massacring U.Mass right now.

McDermott might have a monster game - already 15 points with a few minutes left in the 1st.

Not that they will win, but Eastern Kentucky came to play. So much energy right now.

Number 44 on UL LAF :chuckles:

Looks like an offensive lineman.

Oh hell yes with the step back jumper!

Commentators mentioned he was ~370 pounds. That's just insane.

That fat guy had some moves!

Also, Elfrid Payton is legit. He just needs to develop an outside shot. Played for the US National U-19 team last summer.

So much for that.

I wonder what the odds were that all brackets were busted before we got to the 1st Saturday.

One of the most boneheaded plays I've ever seen

dammit. vcu easily the most disappointing round 1 elimination for me. here's hoping the mythical 1/16 happens to make up for it.

such an incredible round of games, 4 still left too.
