2014 NBA Draft Lottery Countdown Thread - Zero Days! (8pm, Tues)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The one I'm most nervous about with the risk is Embiid. We have seen too many times big men with injury concerns end up having problems in the league. If we have the third pick, I'm okay with the risk of Embiid, or even possibly trading it for Love. But at the #1 pick, you HAVE to take Wiggins or Parker. We can't afford another bust.

If the Cavs pass over another center prospect, cmstophe might jump off a bridge.

Apparently for every championship LBJ gets we get a number one pick. Well done Gilbert.

Huge risk at taking Embiid even though he said today his back is 100%.

Pending examinations how do you pass up a center like that who can clog up the lane and be as dynamic as he appears to be?

In the end I just hope Gilbert's urgency to win now doesn't provoke us to make a short sighted move while risking our long term future in the end.

Embiid's back just worries me, we can't afford to mess this up.

Chris Grant loved the tank so much, in order to drive it one last time...he sacrificed himself.

If Embiid checks out* is the phrase that's going to be used on here for the next few weeks. If Embiid checks out, and I mean 100% checks out, he's probably the pick.

That said, if I had to pick right now, it's Wiggins. Parker plays no defense at all, and I'm not sure he has the athleticism to ever be a good defender. Wiggins, if developed right, could be one of the best perimeter defenders in the game.

Embiid could win defensive player of the year, but he's got to be healthy. He broke down in a college season playing inconsistent minutes. That terrifies me.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. My friend lives with two 76ers fans and says they wanna kill him.

Really do NOT want them to trade this pick. Do NOT NOT NOT. Wiggins or Embiid. I could warm up to Parker, I guess. If people want Love, I am sure there are ways to do it without giving this pick up.

Core of Kyrie - LeBron - Wiggins/Embiid - Love would be crazy. You'd basically have to sell the farm, and probably a combo of Dion, TT and Bennett... or all.

But... long way away...

I've made no prep for the lottery. RCF might not be able to handle it if the unbelievable happens.

This ^

Calapri and LeBron, welcome to Cleveland!

If only the second part was that easy. While I am not saying this hurts, I am not 100% sure this makes our LeBron chances sky high right now. Obviously helps, though.

Seriously, does this stuff EVER happen to us? I don't even know what to say right now

Haha just three times now, I guess...

And with the first pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers select Mallory Edens
