2015 Buckeyes Football

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
At the end of the day, we are bringing back a QB who was Big Ten QB of the year in 2014, will be in his third year running the system, and will have an entire off-season to work on his skills, unlike last year with the injury. Lets face it, if you have a top 5 QB in CF with Urban Meyer as coach you are a 11-12 win team.

How big is that Oklahoma game gonna be next year? We are going to see right away how decent these young guys are.

Also love that our bye week is right after that game, right before B1G play.

If we lose, give our guys time to think it over and gear up for a B1G title.
If we win, have 2 weeks to prepare for B1G schedule and riding high into it.

Plus, I just hate bye weeks late in any schedule. Browns or Bucks. Get it over with as quickly as possible.

It's gonna be lit. I'm going and cannot wait, honestly.

Oklahoma is going to be even more difficult, considering how much of that Playoff team is coming back next season.

They return all but six starters to that team, including nine on defense if they don't lose anyone via the NFL.

Will be an enormous road test for a team with JT Barrett and a completely rebuilt offense with two games worth of experience.

That schedule next year is filthy.

Road games against Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Penn State and Michigan State are fun for nobody.

Mike Thomas gone.

Bell next to complete the mass exodus.

Go from cream puff schedule, to having one of the better schedules (on paper) of the top programs. Unfortunately it falls on the year where we are in complete reload mode. I'd be shocked if 2 (more? doubtful but who knows) losses weren't in order.

2 at most IMO. I have faith in the recruiting, system, and JT that we don't see that big of a drop off on offense. Think the skill position group of Brown, Dixon, Wilson, Samuel, Weber, Hill will surprise a lot of people with how explosive they are, and that's not even factoring in some of the Freshman they could be bringing in that can see some PT...plus, Elflein staying and moving to C is a bigger deal than is being made.

Defense is where the money needs to be made. Replacing 3 DBs is a killer. But I like Jerome Baker at LB, and think Hubbard will be a great replacement for Bosa, on top of bringing in another Bosa.

All the tough Big 10 teams we play on the road have the worst ? mark of them all...who starts at QB...meanwhile we return the best QB in the Big 10. I still like our chances to be in Indianapolis.

Bell gone too, that should do it

Doesn't mean this team can't contend.

DE: Hunbard
DT: Hill
DT: Munger
DE: Lewis

OLB: Worley
MLB: McMillan
OLB: Booker

CB: Connely
Safety: Smith
Safety: Burrows
CB: Webb

Malik Hooker and Jalyn Holmes among others will push for time.

This upcoming team is actually insanely stacked. It's just a matter of pulling the talent together and making them believe.

Call me a joker, but our roster is significantly more talented than Oklahoma next year.

I think "that should do it" means that Von Bell was the last of the underclassmen who were considering leaving to make a decision.

Pretty much gotta go into this coming year if we make the playoffs, be happy as hell.

In 2017, we go Championship.

More on Mack & another name everyone seems to be forgetting, DeMario McCall.

McCall will be on the field Day 1, I feel. May not be the every down starting RB like Weber or Williams, but this guy can play. Has dealt with some injuries during his senior season, but is almost fully healthy and making great plays at the US Army All-American. His ability to catch & weave through the defense will be huge. Just another safety net for JT.

I can't wait to see how many freshman Urban is going to play this year. A lot more than this past year.

Its just crazy to think, that not many of last years great recruiting class got to play much, was it because they failed, or we have 10+ guys going to the NFL this year. I think we forget how much talent we brought in last year as well. The future is bright!

Does anyone know how many players we can take this year? Is there a chance we dont fully load up and save spots for next year? I am sure with this many underclassman going we could take a 25 man class if we could get the right players.

We only have 18 right now.

Keep an eye on #7 (ESPN 300) DT Rashard Lawrence. It is between LSU & tOSU. He is from LA, though.

"I took an official then, they've been coming every week they could," said. "And that's why they are one of my top schools and the relationship with (Ohio State defensive line) coach (Larry) Johnson."

However, Lawrence is big on coaching stability, so this could be Meyer's chance to pluck a Louisiana prospect. LSU retained coach Les Miles after the season, but months of rumors about his potential firing has to raise some issues about his longer term stability in Baton Rouge.

LSU lost defensive coordinator Kevin Steele for Auburn, though, and Lawrence said it was tough to see him go.

Would be a great get next to Bosa. Most likely he is picking LSU, but it's great to see us in the running still. Anything can happen.
