2016-2017 Around The NBA

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I understand that Chris Haynes is a Golden State writer now, but dear god that article on ESPN.com is a piece of trash.

"Saturday shows why Kevin Durant left Russell Westbrook" is the headline. I don't feel like linking it because it's that bad.

What a hack.

Kyle Lowry: "Something gotta give, something gotta change" What? "I have an idea but I’mma keep my mouth shut, keep it professional"

"Get Dwayne Casey the fuck out of here" - inner Kyle Lowry.

I don't think Lowry+DeRozan is ever going to contend. No matter who else you put with them. Their games don't mesh. They are the far less talented version of Westbrook and Durant, who could contend based on sheer talent alone.

They have to be split up. Either the Raptors trade Lowry in the next week, or let him walk in the summer.

Hield got flagrant 2, ejected for this.

This has to be the refs doing Boogie a favor for giving him a questionable technical from what I read.

Boogie stormed off to the locker room to meditate right after the tech. Refs probably felt bad and made him happy.

Raptors are going to make some kind of reactionary trade like for Ibaka, imo.

Ibaka will be a free agent in the summer. Trading for him .. is risky. Huge commitment to put into Lowry and Ibaka with Lowry turning 32 before next years playoffs.

I watched parts of their game against the Pistons, i can't believe they lost. That's just brutal. Detroit is awful, they kept sabotaging themselves. Toronto at least looked like a competent, professional team, with clearly superior talent. I don't know what's wrong with the Raptors right now, but it's very wrong. Damn, if there were more than 4 teams interested in winning in the East, they probably wouldn't have home court in the first round.

Btw, Lowry is a free agent this summer, maybe that's the idea he mentioned?

I think Ibaka stays in Toronto if they paid him enough. Someone is going to open up the check book for him. He is following money & an location like Toronto may be exactly what he is looking for.

Chris Haynes was a hack writer even when he was covering the Cavs. Never liked him... even before disliking him was cool after he claimed Joe Johnson was a 'lock' to go to the Cavs if he got bought out.

They might turn that 1st from Denver, which is Memphis' pick into someone like Bogut or may be even Ibaka. Actually, they should try for Ibaka. Orlando could do with some solid wing players and Porland are filled with wings.

May be Turner/Crabbe and 1st for Ibaka?

I thought WE were hot after Bogut...
