@godfather watch WCS blow up.

Denver really fucked up trading Nurkic + Memphis 1st round pick for Plumlee(RFA this offseason). Ever since the trade they look lackluster to say the least.

Um, what? Nurkic was barely playing before the trade. The Nuggets have played three games without him, going 1-2 with the one win against Golden State.

Claiming that Nurkic being gone has anything to do with Denver looking lackluster leads me to believe you haven't actually watched much of the Nuggets.

Lol Nurkic was getting baby minutes and had no effect on their wins and losses.

Denver is a massive headache to coach because they have 12 legit players it seems.

Nelson/Mudiay
Harris/Murray
Chandler/Gallo/Barton
Faired/Arthur/Hernangomez
Jokic/Plumlee

No,No. I didn't mean that Nurkic absence makes them lose or play badly.
They are playing badly because they are trying to intergrate a new player that has no particular skill that they need or know how to use.
Plumlee is a good passer for a big man and he has some skills that start to show when he gets more experience with a team. He can't shoot, he is not a very good defender so it takes time.
Thing is, I feel like they are going to underperform somewhat and Plumlee is going to have a hard time finding his place. I have doubts that they are going to extend him if he plays poorly or the team performs badly. Therefore trading a pretty good asset in Nurkic and not a bad Memphis pick for a rental for a team that still isn't a contender by any means is a bad trade.
That's all.
And they beat GSW without Plumlee fwiw.

And I know Nurkic racked up DNPS.

Ah, I got ya.

Totally misunderstood your post, sir dom, so my apologies there. As for the trade, was the pick unprotected? If it was, I agree it wasn't great.

Yeah WCS played out of his mind. I think he is a player that needed to be the starting center because he does have real talent. As for the Pels if they add one more star and pull a Cavs they will be a force but they are a big two with a tank Squad.

Jrue Holiday is their biggest problem, not two bonafide All Star bigs. It's hard to believe Holiday used to be an All Star in Philly. They have a completely unbalanced roster, and Cousins still has a lot to work on emotionally.

In an unrelated note: How long is it going to take Bogdanovic to realize he needs to shave his head? Nobody has been watching Brooklyn so he has been getting away with that molting eagle head, but the Wiz are going to get national airtime.

First thing the Pelicans need to do is surround both AD and Cousins with knock down shooters.
Cousins and AD get double teamed as soon as they get the ball down low and they need shooters to have an efficient offense because they will be able to get open looks.
No PF will be able to hold his own against AD/Cous so it's up to the role players to step up.

No problem. That was the Memphis pick via Cleveland that we sent in the Mozgov trade.
protected for selections 1-5 in 2017 and 1-5 in 2018 and unprotected in 2019.
