2016 BOLD PREDICTIONS

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Man think about what Willie Mayes would make today if he was 31 and a free agent.

i know this is way off topic, but he was the best defensive outfielder of all time, bar none (although Griff was awfully good too) .

Coming off a .310 49hr year with 20 stolen bases and 140 RBI's.

He is way better than Mike Trout and that is not an insult to Trout.

I think if someone like Mays existed today he would be worth 10 years for a total of $400 million.

By modern rules, Mays would have become a free agent at 27.

At that point, he had 5 straight seasons above a 7.6 WAR and two seasons over 10.

Would have been an ARod deal.

A few were correct. A lot were not.

I'd give most credit to @sportscoach and his record prediction. Nearly spot on, and honestly predicting a 100+ win season is almost always going out on a limb. Props.

Rest of you, weak af.

Actually, Bimbo had a good streak prediction, too.

Man, I nailed all of my predictions.

Mostly MOLD predictions, only a few BOLD. I never posted mine, but they centered around All-Star appearances for Dan Otero and Roberto Perez, the readdition of Bartolo Colon, Tyler Naquin becoming a stud and Jose Ramirez morphing into an MVP contender.

  1. Lindor shocks everybody with his power and belts 32 home runs.
  2. Austin Jackson stays on the team the entire season.
  3. Bauer is our second best starter (behind Kluber).
  4. Indians win 107 games and have multiple 10+ game winning streaks.
  5. All Stars: Lindor, Encarnacion, Kluber, Miller, Bauer
  6. The Cleveland Indians win their first World Series since 1948.

- Indians win 102 games and had the longest winning streak in major league history (22)
#5: All Stars: Lindor, Encarnacion, Kluber, Miller, Bauer
