Indians have Kennedy with Tomlin on the hill. They hit him pretty well few weeks back.

Toronto has David a price, who hasn't exactly been lights out his last few starts. Also they're putting Sanchez on the mound who has pitched well his last two starts but got rocked by Boston early in September.

Some excitement to end the season!

Also looks like Game 1 will be at night, Game 2 in the afternoon and Game 3 the early game.

Where did u see start times?

So essentially, we should be rooting for the Tigers to lose either way. Would love to avoid that game tomorrow at all costs.

They could essentially play tomorrow with the B team again if they win and the Sox lose, but the Tigers stay alive (which would mean a win and a Orioles loss in this case).

The MLB App has postseason schedule, no times but they have the order of the series.

Game 2 in the afternoon

WHY IN THE EVERLOVING FUCK DO YOU SCHEDULE PLAYOFF GAMES IN THE AFTERNOON ON WEEKDAYS? THE WHOLE REASON STADIUMS PUT UP LIGHTS 80 YEARS AGO WAS SO THAT EVERYBODY COULD WATCH THE GAMES. NOW YOU PUT THE MOST IMPORTANT GAMES ON WHEN EVERYBODY IS WORKING? WHY IS MLB SO UTTERLY FUCKING STUPID?!!?!?

I can answer that.

It’s because MLB did a poor job of scheduling, so there will be 4 games played on Friday. Every series in the AL & NL will be going that day. Because they don’t want any of the games to overlap on that day, you’re gonna have some games in the afternoon.

That's fucking bullshit. If we get home field I was planning on going to Game 2...but if it's during the day I won't be going.

This isn't loading for me on MLB anymore - so let's call this TBD for now. Long story, but I asked my friend who works for MLBAM and he never texted me back, but then all this info got taken down.

I thought it was because people were complaining ten or so years ago that there weren't any playoff games played during the day anymore so they started them again for the divisional series games?

I mean maybe...but the far more pressing/urgent reason was because there’s 3 other games slated for that day and the TV networks all want “exclusivity”.

I'd say it's a safe bet considering it's the likely going to be the only series with two teams on eastern time.

By the way, if you guys want to keep tabs on the broadcast schedule for these games, this site is very good:

http://www.sportsmediawatch.com/mlb...n-world-series-alcs-nlcs-alds-nlds-wild-card/

I keep that page bookmarked myself. They update it constantly so it always has the most accurate and up to date information. I used them for the NBA playoffs a few months ago as well and they did a good job then too.

As a side note, the fact that the MLB playoffs are going to be airing on 5 different networks (and 4 different companies) this year is ridiculous, and can’t be good for anybody. You’re not gonna get causal fans watching when games are on so many different channels.

EDIT: Although it appears TBS has the rights for all of the American League games throughout the playoffs, which is nice. It’s the National League games that are a complete clusterfuck. There’s no excuse to ever air a playoff game on MLB Network...a channel very few people even have.

I am glad MLB wants everybody else in the country to not be able to watch the game while they are at work.

Yeah that site has the full NBA playoff schedule up every year well before anyone else.
