The secondary lost the ball a couple times on deep balls, and I've felt this defense was a bit overrated all year so far, but they didn't lose the game. Penn State scored ten points on blocked kicks. The defense played well enough to win.

The passing game lost the game. They couldn't run it either, but it's hard to run against 8 and 9 man fronts. Man coverage outside all night and Barrett's longest completion was a ten yard drag that Brown turned up field for some RAC. It was the same last year.
