Based on what? We aren't the betting favorites.

Traditional Vegas betting lines have had the Cubs favored in literally every game. That means nothing. All it tells you is the books had significantly more bets on the Cubs overall...presumably because there are more Cubs fans nationally.

I'm seeing Cubs fans talk so highly of their momentum, and also national radio do so as well. Am I the only one saying they can shove that momentum bullshit back up their ass where they pulled it?

What happened to our so called momentum going into game 5 where a great pitcher took the mound against us? Momentum is make believe in baseball when it's considered game to game. It only works in game, It doesn't travel. Each game has its own ramifications and circumstances.

Kluber can very well do what Lester did to us when we had all the "momentum". Simple as that. New momentum will start in the first inning. Those same ABs won't be carrying over against a Cy Young pitcher.

Being there and witnessing the debacle that was last night has sucked the enthusiasm outa me. I've been an Indians fan since the days of Duane Kuiper, Buddy Bell, Andre Thornton in the mid '70's. Going to the games with my big brother, my best friend and my mom. My brother was there with me last night, and I desperately wanted to see us win the World Series in person. Instead, we got a shit show.
Do I think we can win it tonight, of course. But you'll have to excuse me if I'm not all rah, rah, and perky today.
