2017-18 Cleveland Indians Offseason

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dylan Baker went to the Brewers and Crockett to the Reds.

Crockett is out of options so hopefully he can make it in Cincinnati. They needed bullpen help so this is a big opportunity for him.

Kyle Crockett is gone.

I expected this to be honest. If he wasn’t out of options he would have been here another season. I would have been surprised if he didn’t get picked up in waivers

I'm guessing it's someone very good for you to cherrypick this, but I'll just say it's all a crapshoot and shit happens. I wish we got the player 13 picks later instead...

Cody Bellinger. Also in that draft was Rob Kaminsky, who we traded for from St. Louis. Saw he didn't pitch in 2017. Any reason as to why? I figure injury. Anyone know a little more?

Edwin got married this weekend in the Dominican Republic. Looks like Lindor, Perez, Santana, and Almonte were in attendance.

@BimboColesHair since you may know way better than me about this question.

That was an article from July that talked about the Indians minor leagues.

I know he has had some injuries in the past as well and this offseason he was supposed to have worked on his mechanics some. The potential is still there and if he was ready to be at AAA he would have been added to the 40 man roster since we lack lefties overall. My guess is won’t be ready for the pros until 19 or 20 (which is good timing anyways)

Man Boston is in play for every big player every offseason.

I'm all for Abreu ending up in Boston since it would take them off the board for Santana. Free agency in baseball is essentially musical chairs as we witnessed last winter with Encarnacion, so let's hope the situation repeats itself here with Los.
