I think Irving has shown flaws, 1) Laziness (On D) and Selfishness. Giannis is a beast, and has not shown such flaws. I just feel as if Irving would have more freedom to do more because the Greek freak is not the ball handler. I don't really have Irving pom poms tbh. However, It is my belief he has not reached his peak, and in typical Cleveland fashion, he will do that elsewhere. Just our luck.

I see a lot of Kobe in this kid, good and bad. I have a strong feeling this will be the one that got away. Look at our draft history. We missed out on so much talent.

He didn't get away...he helped us win a title and will now go be obscure for the remainder of his current deal on a lottery team

Conley is 30 and his contact would be almost impossible to move IMO.. Plus Memphis has no good young pieces to offer...I'll take Bledsoe and Jackson or unprotected lottery picks all day over Conley at this stage in the game

What is 30 year old Conley leading here especially if Bron leaves?.. who wants to trade for 31 year old Conley at 30 million per in 2019?

Bledsoe is young athletic, aggressive, and one of the best defenders at the PG position in the league and 27 years old and make half of what Conley does

I cannot imagine Kyrie or more likely his agent being "quiet" this season if he is not moved. The longer he remains on the team the more it adds to the perceived circus like atmosphere surrounding the team. With that said you do not rush a deal just for the sake of rushing a deal. Talk about an off-season to remember. I hope the new GM is wearing his big boy pants because this move will set the tone for his tenure as a GM and will show if he has what it takes going forward.

Kyrie is coming from a good season and has two years left on a deal. His price is high now despite the leak he wants to get traded. They should be able to make a good deal and prevent chemistry issues next season which are guaranteed with him still on the roster.

Windy just said he thinks they are beyond a makeup...Kyrie specifically told Gilbert face to face he no longer wants to play with LeBron.. Cavs have been looking to trade Kyrie for 2 weeks and LBJ has known for a week... he said they will take their time on this

So what if team chemistry sucks to start the season. If that's the price to pay to get a good enough haul from a Kyrie trade to get Lebron to stay the following season, then so be it.

Kyrie also could have a change of heart and stay after we win a title next year.

Irving is far from Kobe and I don't see him even making a jump like say Harden did when he left OKC. Irving's surgically repaired kneecap with plates and screws in it which periodically flares up, is not going to be aided by him continuing to drive to the basket as much as he does.
