Over throwing. Could very well be too much rest. His arm was fresher so he was throwing slightly harder and causing his pitches to run flat.

Or as also suggested slot of his arm

Too many things to list and speculate about. Easiest one is arm fatigue though.

But Kluber has done this before, where he can't find his arm slot, is wild, MPH is down on his fastball, his stuff is flat, and he has found it mid-start most of the time...not today though.

I’m not “concerned” but at the same time I was hesitant about this series. The Yankees mash the fucking ball. Have Kluber lose him game is a fucking stinker.

But Edwin is the real reason I’m down. Just a bummer.
 
Looks like the momentum isnt there right now. One solo shot could give life, even down 3. Need a spark somewhere.

Down 3 is a tough fuckin nut to crack right now.
 
Yea this game is a loss. Can't go to the 5th losing to these guys. Their bullpen will be in and shut us down.
