The GSW fans of baseball.

Their entire act got really old during the World Series. I think the most obnoxious thing ever was having to deal with all of the Indianapolis media accounts I follow for IndyCar suddenly all go pro-Cubs in a blink of an eye.

Complete radio silence for the 5 or so years I followed. Then suddenly everyone's a Cubs fan.

Just using it as a jumping off point because I cannot stand the "Fly the W" hashtag, and the Cubs fans that use it.

I do not doubt that there's some insanely loyal cub fans that have listened on the radio and been loyal since god's no when...but the people I'm seeing coming out of the woodwork are not them.

I've been to STL. Their fans are chill, friendly and know the game quite a bit. STL is more like the Spurs. Their fans treat their team like I'vs seen us treat OSU.

Yeah, not the experience a lot of people have with them, especially in years they’re good.

I’ll never respect a fan base that has to refer to themselves as the best in baseball. Same way I won’t like Seahawks fans for calling themselves “12s”, same way GSW call themselves basketball purist fans.

Yeah.

People won’t like to hear it on this forum, but Cubs fans are a lot like LBJ era Cavs fans.

There’s a solid base that has watched them for years upon years of sucking who will never not root for the team, like in Cleveland, and a large group of very vocal band wagoners, winning for the Cubs/LBJ nutriders for the Cavs, that makes the first group look bad.
