John Farrell fired.

Barring an unforeseen manager offer from another team, I'd expect him to be with the Indians in some fashion next year.
What a rollercoaster journey for him in Boston. World Series title in year one, last place finishes in year two and three (plus a winning fight against cancer), followed up by back-to-back division titles (first Red Sox manager to ever do that). Would certainly be a valuable asset to the Tribe organization once again.

Sometimes in the modern era I think we are too quick to fire coaches which makes their lives a whole lot harder in a lot of aspects. Farrell will have a job somewhere next season without a doubt.

Well now we can move on as objective fans to the LCS, and try to enjoy the game without the emotional tie to the Tribe.

I’m looking forward to this Yankee-Astros series. Two great lineups. Houston has the SP edge and the Bombers, as the Indians learned, have the bullpen.

Houston remains my World Series pick, as I was one of 3 votes in the survey above . I’m also rooting for the Nationals to knock the Cubs out.

Who cares

Baseball ended last night

I honestly won't even know who the winner is until next year and will constantly forget throughout the year

Don’t be mad at baseball. Be mad at the Indians. Vote with your wallet. Like I do with the Browns.

Think the Yankees have the SP edge, especially if Tanaka can look even 80% as sharp as he did in Game 3. No one past Verlander and Keuchel should be feared even a little bit in the Astros rotation.

Not even mad at baseball. I just don't find it at all interesting when the Tribe don't play. From 2008 until our wild card (2014?)game I didn't watch a single playoff baseball game (nor a single baseball game the Indians didn't play in)

Aaron Judge is only 11 strikeouts away from passing Alfonso Soriano for most K's in a single postseason

Michael A. Taylor doing the damn thang these last two days. Big three run homer in the second to put the Nats ahead 4-1.
