Mostly luck. When you look at his FIPWHIP his BBIPAR was significantly above his career average and league average signaling a regression was due.

Also he disappeared in the world series

Oh, I was just looking at his BA, HR, OBP and OPS. Hmm.

Well, don't be surprised when they re-sign him because right now he's what, 31? And having a mediocre or worse year? Don't think he's gonna get that big money offer.
