In both of Cody's blown saves this year, the game has been "over". Against Cincinnati, the game was literally called over, only for Billy Hamilton to be called safe at first because he's the human flash. Game was extended, Cozart brought him home all the way from first on a hit. Last night, Allen ended the game with a strikeout- ball bounced away from Gomes and the game was extended. Walk off HR to the next batter.

I know it doesn't matter until the ink has dried in the box score, but he was extremely unlucky in both of these games. Even that infield single wasn't really his fault- he did his job until that last hitter. He's really struggled some with control this year but I'm confident when Allen takes the mound with a lead.
