He walked off under his own power so its not an achilles luckily. If i could see the video not just listening to the radio then I could tell you.

He knew he did something so he sat down to not make it worse probably. He is a veteran who knows his body probably fairly well so he figured he would get weight off of his leg as soon as possible. Now it is likely some type of muscle pull, so he will be on the DL cause of it (Strain 2-4 weeks and a pull 4-6 normally so he is likely out until September)

Curtis Granderson, Jay Bruce, Yoenis Cespedes, and Justin Upton are the outfielders that have been confirmed to clear waivers. I could see Granderson or Bruce if the injury is bad.

We'll need one of those plugs if we want to make a WS run. Nothing in house could fill Brantley's shoes.

Definitely looked like a potential career ending type of injury for Brantley given age and production.

Maybe a career DH/national league pinch hitter down the road... But that one is finished.
