Bron needed 22 shots to get 24 points. Kobelike in his Lakers home debut.
If LeBron shoots at Kobe level percentages, Laker fans will bury him.

Nothing gets between Laker fans and their Kobe obsession.

Lakers officials watched tape and side with Rondo not spitting on Cp3. Go figure

Cp3 still says Rondo did indeed spit on him.

I side with Cp3 just because Rondo is a nut, and he once took the basketball and wiped his sweat all over it.

Oh hell naw. Rondo gotta catch some more hands if this us true.

I’m sure rondo instructed that.

Paul’s been dirty since punching a player in the groin in college

The late 80s/early 90s was higher scoring than this. I saw the 150-124 Ws game vs the pacers in 1989 in person. Only 8 3pt baskets all game combined for both teams.

But the teams were a combined 104-195 from the floor. 195 shot attempts. And 72 free throws. 68 Assists. 81 rebounds. A regulation game (No OT)

Manute Bol (7'7) and Rik Smits (7'4) matched up that game briefly. They looked like aliens. I think Uwe Blab chucked up the last shot to reach 150.

The next year they were in a 162-158 game vs the nuggets (though I didnt see it) with 239 shot attempts and only 6 3pts

I am 38, so that era was before I really got into the sport beyond loving playing it. Maybe If I was a watcher back then I would have enjoyed it and it would have been my touchstone for how the game should be played.

I don't want those early 00's 70 point games back, but some balance would be appreciated, it should be more difficult than it is to score, and if we are tightening up on defensive issues then an equal focus on blatant travels, moving screens, push offs etc would be welcome. A more equal contest basically, I want to see the elite offensive players overcome high quality defense.

Wait until Lance loses it and Lebron stands back and watches him get beaten. There was one play where Lance fell and Lebron did not even bother going five feet to help him up, forcing one of the other lakers to sprint and give him a hand.

Lebron deep down realizes he gave away a year of his basketball career. Leaving was one thing but picking the lakers was the ultimate white flag move as a competitor and he is now teammates wirh Lance and Rondo instead of Cedi and Young Bull, or even about six other Nba situations which made much better sense. This is a much much worse decision then Miami and deep down he knows he made this decision for all the wrong reasons.

Raptors look legit.

I think a guy like Danny Green really adds a lot to that team as a low key pick-up thrown in with Leonard.

But lots of vet depth and young athletic depth on that team.

Celtics have more top end talent but the Raptors might just end up being the better team.

They’re definitely the team I’m pulling for in the East now that we’re not in contention anymore. Great fan base. They’d make for a fun Finals crowd.

Honestly, good on INgram. HArden flopped his way into that call and INgram had enough. I like it.
How you can think Harden flopped his way into that call is beyond me.

Was a textbook blocking foul.

Now, I understand that frustration may have been building all night from some fouls drawn on non-basketball plays, but that particular foul was 100% legitimate.

I was on their twitter page and they were already burying him. I saw lots of " he aint Kobe" tweets. After 1 game.

There was a lot of chirping going on this game, I think the young buck let the talking get the best of him and he showed his frustration. Crazy thing is he stepped up to the ref ready to hit him too.

Lakers are in trouble if Ingram doesn't elevate his game and play like a stud.
