God I was at two Wizards games this week, my son really wants to go and tickets are cheap...first the Cavs game where they crushed us but somehow still looked crappy doing it, and then the Nets game where Brooklyn DESTROYED them on the road despite no Caris Levert and being, you know, the Nets. Just such a flat, spiritless, passionless performance by the Wizards. What you said is exactly what I kept thinking -- HOW can I be watching THREE max players out there? HOW can John Wall have a $141 million contract and my poor little six year old thinks this is what an NBA star looks like? HOW can I be raising a beautiful innocent child to be a Wizards fan? Should Child Protective Services intervene?

It's always the same pattern with the Wizards -- get a couple of pretty good players who happen to have pretty good seasons, overreact, then give them long term superstar contracts and be stuck with mediocrity forever. Arenas-Jamison, Wall-Beal-Porter. Or maybe I'm giving them too much credit because they throw money at players who aren't even pretty good -- Ian Mahinmi is going to be making $15.5 million THIS YEAR AND NEXT YEAR.

Ernie Grunfeld is only in his early 60s and has lifetime tenure no matter how much he fucks up, my kid is in for DECADES of the Wizards sucking.

You're absolutely right on all those morons. But it's the certain ones who consistently make their snide comments. Why Cleveland? You never hear anything negative about all the other small market cities and their teams. I can't help but being curious. Why not OKC, Indy, Charlotte, Salt Lake, Memphis, Detroit, etc. I been all over, to several of these cities too. I'd choose to live in the Cleveland over any of them. If it didn't snow here I might really like it.

I think the reason they always shit on Cleveland is because we had Lebron, and in their minds he was just too big for little, shitty old Cleveland. They didnt even hide the fact that they wanted him in a big market. It was like nothing ive ever seen before.

Conley continues to be criminally underrated and I'll say this again....as an overall player, I think he's every bit as good as Kyrie Irving and arguably a top 5 PG. I'd take him over Lowry or Wall. Just look at the massive impact he makes. Doesn't play and the Grizzlies look like a completely lost franchise. Comes back and now everything they've been building for all these years makes sense again. Defensively he remains an absolute stud and one of, if not the, best defensive PG in the league..who also scores 18+ a game a season.

I'm one of the biggest Doncic fans on here, but I'm not penciling him in as the best guy in the class yet because Jackson has looked so damn good. He's basically matching Anthony Davis's rookie stats, and he's half a year younger than Davis was as a rookie. Everything about the Grizzlies is underrated.

Jackson also has so much room to grow into his game. He'll get so much stronger, as his handle improves his dribble drive game will become elite for a center. Memphis are going to be a force come playoff time (IF HEALTHY )

Just like Doncic is an enormous PG masquerading as a wing, JJ is an enormous wing masquerading as a big. It's gonna be fun to watch those two grow.

Ok do you know where to get +/- season stats cause I did see something the other day that essentially had Jackson with one of the large - numbers so far.

Which is a sorta strike against him considering the team is actually good and winning.

Like they were 10 points worse with him on the court.

This was probably 3+ games ago though, and so early in the season it could have swung wildly by now.
