Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Tyrod as a bridge. Mayfield will take over by week 4

I do think these moves make Barkley at 1 a heck of a lot more likely. Seems like we want to build a win now offense and develop a QB for at least a year.
No matter who it was, unless it was Cousins, the bridge QB wasn’t going to have anything to do with the QB we draft. Or at least I hope not. It doesn’t get more inept than choosing your next franchise QB differently because of acquiring Tyrod Taylor in a trade

Do you know the difference between having not watched someone and not watching someone a ton? Dont waste my time if you cant read. My post was me asking for info, which is why I said I am "legitimately asking for info." Where did I say he is a bad bridge QB?

Three straight years of 89 or greater QB rating.

If not benched, would’ve had 3 straight years of 3000 yards passing, 500 rushing, 60+% completion, 20 total TD’s, and 7 or less INT.

Pro-Bowler.

He takes care of the ball. He moves the ball.

Just led a mediocre Buffalo to the postseason despite the coaching staff long wanting to move on to the guy they drafted.

He’s the most underrated QB in the NFL as far as I’m concerned because of where he plays and the offense he’s tasked with.

He’s a great bridge guy, and only 28 should he lead us to the playoffs and choose to extend him.

Who is Demarius Randall?

Former first rounder, good player but went in hard on Josh Gordon on Twitter. We’ll see how that plays out.

He’s had some issues with injury and inconsistency.

No multi-year commitment, took his team to the playoffs last year for the first time since '99, and allows our drafted QB to sit and learn all year.

Big fan of all of those things.

While I do think it’s an overpay for Taylor, I’m not really that surprised. I expect this front office to solve the QB problem at whatever cost is necessary.

Taylor is eh, I guess? What makes him a good bridge QB? Legitimately asking as someone that hasnt watched a ton.

I'd say he falls somewhere in the 10-20 range as far as NFL QBs go. He's a decent QB and a solid game manager who doesn't make a lot of dumb mistakes. Sounds like a bridge QB to me.

This is what a legit GM does.......great moves so far.

Should probably remember that these moves have largely been made possible by the historic draft capital our previous GM accumulated for the team heading into this offseason. It's a lot easier to trade some third and fourth rounders when you head into the draft with five picks in the first two rounds.
