2018 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Belichick's entire shtick is pretending to be a pure football guy to trick the rest of the NFL into thinking analytics aren't valuable while he regularly uses them to gain a major competitive advantage over the dumb teams.
Thanks for saving me the time

The Pats are one of the most analytical teams in football

The NFL is by far the dumbest of the three major sports. From the media that covers them to their rules and processes. There's so much stupid shit it's laughable at this point.

You cannot watch a Patriots game without hearing how they do the simplest and most basic things and the announcer points it out as though it's an advantage that only The Patriots can use. Like no you idiots. Every team can value 2nd and 3rd round picks, make their kickoffs shorter, cut and trade players before they fall off a cliff, hold their players accountable, cheat, lie, coach their DB's on clock management, put extra emphasis on Special Teams. None of that shit is exclusive to The Patriots yet they are literally the only team in the league who does all of these things. Other teams act like they aren' allowed to even try those things.

If we were to draft Darnold

I understand that having a bad face is probably not indicative of potential NFL success nor does it really mean anything when it comes football.

That said, how does it get addressed? Because that fucking thing isn't going anywhere.

Put a helmet over it.

Perhaps a "face mask"?

It's funny most I guarantee has never even watched a game of Josh Allen. Everyone is all over Josh Rosen, well just what the hell has Rosen ever accomplished playing at UCLA? I don't think he was ever had more than a 500 record at UCLA for any season. It's not like UCLA is Florida Atlantic. I think a guy by the name of Carson Wentz has done pretty well for himself. It doesn't have to be a big school for the guy to succeed.

I mean, 56% completion is a huge red flag

I have watch several of Allen's games. Hell just this year I saw him lay an egg against Iowa and Oregon.

This is a needlessly belittling comment

Have I watched full Wyoming games during the season? Of course not. There’s about 500,000 things I’d rather be doing with my time

But when every throw of every game of every QB is on youtube in 15 minutes for each game or less it’s pretty presumptions to assume that you and you alone have been the only one to watch him

I’ve watched Allen. I’ve watched Rosen. There’s a laughably large difference between the 2 as prospects IMO

Seriously the only things Allen has on Rosen are arm strength and mobility. But with that mobility also comes the guy getting happy feet and breaking the pocket early way too often

Fair enough. I respect your opinion. This is what these forums and threads are for. We are supposed to give our opinion, and I'm giving mine like you are giving your's.
