we have enough picks to do both. We should attack in FA and draft. Not a great Wr class, but with all our picks we can easily find one or even two that could help us short term and long terms. But yes, we need to sign a vet first.I think the Browns would be best served to find a WR in free agency this year than invest a high draft pick on one. Especially if we draft a rookie QB and he plays this coming season, I'd rather have a veteran WR corp instead of getting younger and more raw (if that's even possible) at the position.
If Saquon Barkley went to Georgia and Sony Michele went to Penn State what would be different right now?
Then Michel would have more exposure. Barkley might be underrated/underheralded, if he had to share a backfield with someone.
% runs w negative yardage / yardage lost:
Barkley 16.2% -260 yds
Guice 8.6% -70 yds
Penny 8% -88 yds
R Jones 7.8 % -76 yds
Michel 7.1% -44 yds

This is the only report I’ve heard the opposite of Rosen off the field issues being over blown. I’m choosing to believe what I’ve been told and what I’ve read saying he does.
That article absolutely nails it for me. Barkley's superior physical talent is undeniable, but his willingness to make the kind of runs that are the bread and butter of the NFL just doesn't match that of Guice or Michel. And I hate all those negative yardage plays. Many, many times, good NFL run defenses just won't give up the big plays, but you have to keep running to keep them honest. That means at lot of 2-4 yard runs. I really worry that rather than gaining 2-4 yards on those plays where not much is there, Barkley is going to get stuffed or lose yardage.
