2018 NBA Draft - June 21

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Man...maybe I'm too high on him, but I like him a lot if we end up in the 7-8 range. The stats support the idea that he could be an great roleplayer right away on offense thanks to his high activity level, IQ, and crazy athleticism. Reasonably accurate jumper when left open (though that's probably something we'd want to double check if we bring him in for a workout, given the small sample size). Most importantly, could be an elite defensive player in the backcourt, which is something we obviously need.

EDIT: Sorry for breaking up Dom's chain

Don't fucking reply. I'm posting Lonnies and Troy's... it just takes time.

Lonnie Walker's Offense

Excellent Isolation scorer, has ways to of as a PnR Ball handler and a spot up shooter. In my opinion projects to be a worse role player early on. Still missing data and smaller sample size.

Hmm... both offense and defense included zone and man to man defense. I didn't separate it unfortunately if that's what you prefer.

I'm not going to redo it because I checked and the difference in both plays is negligible for now, but I checked Troy Brown's difference on Offense between attacking man to man and zone and it's significant as he is fr worse attacking zone. Do you want me to put Troy's only man to man numbers on both ends?

Honestly I was just expecting you to post the offense/defense play types overview; everything else is gravy :chuckle:

Thanks a ton man

Nah, I think its important. I'll do the comprehensive one to finish Troy Brown. But maybe i'll do the overview for any prospects you guys want for the time being and then just update it to a comprehensive view when the NCAA season is over when we have full sample size. Which ever you prefer. Obviously, i'll be able to do more prospects if I didn't bother with the the full stats.

@Heej Why the disagree?

Troy Brown's Offense
I included Zone as well because it was included in in both Zhaire's and Lonnie's stats.
From now on I think I'm going to only include man to man, but whichever you guys prefer.

Just FYI, Troy's overall offense again zone was in the 29th Percentile and against only man to man it was in the 68th Percentile.

I'd like to add that Troy Brown is a project to me on both ends...I think he needs to stay another year.

Also, I think i'm going to just cut the part "Split the defenders" as it just fucks up my cropping and really has no data on college players anyways right now.

Troy Brown's Defense

I feel like for some reason Synergy overrates him on that end. When I watch him play he loses his assignments off the ball a lot... often very late to contest players coming off screens. His one on one defense is fine, but his team defense is very suspect right now.

As you can see, his defensive play styles are mostly limited to Spot Ups, PnR and Iso.... compared to Lonnie's and Zhaire's.

Yes. I thought it came with the video function, but it didn't.

They don't answer my mail inquiries about upgrading it as I really want to put video clips here along with the stats.

Why?

No idea, I've emailed them in the past to no response and have heard the same from others.

Thanks. But the "Why?" was to why you asked...

It's very weird they don't answer emails. It's a monthly subscription and so I hope I won't have problems when I decide to stop the subscription.

Very weird though.

Just out of curiosity and was going to see if you found a way to get the video access - which isn't included with that subscription, but I think I've heard people used to be able to access it somehow in the past.

I plan on getting it, but at $30 a month I'm trying to resist it until the NCAA season is over lol.

Are there shot charts available on that subscription do you know? Or are there #'s on NBA range three pointers?

I think in hindsight I should have resisted it and waited till the end of the season, but I really thought there was more to it.

Yes, there are shot charts with hot spots on the floor.

Where did you hear about people being able to access it? Is there a way for you to figure it out for me? that would be awesome.

Just heard it from someone on Twitter lol, but they've since tried to access it and haven't been able to. So whatever loophole there used to be, it was closed.
