He started playing like butt as soon as I started watching lol. Almost blew the game for his team there at the end, but we've got OT. No doubt he's an NBA-level talent, though. Causing all kinds of problems in the paint against a very good team.

Do you have a decent stream? mine is giving me malware.

And to your other point...he is just tired. He doesn't play big minutes because his stamina isn't up to par.

He can barely move now lol.

I paid the $15 or whatever for the last 3 games of the season, so I was watching the official stream, which was pretty good except for occasional problems caused by my own lousy internet.

Well, he was 1 foul away from fouling out, and I think that was very much on his mind. Still a super impressive game, though. Pretty sure every single player in Pana's frontcourt is an NBA draftee, and he just dominated them offensively.

Oh, I see :)

Right, he had 4 fouls...for some reason I forgot you are dead after 5! my mind isn't as sharp as it once was.

I dunno, I just really like him at the next level as a very impactful bench big. Does he have a chance to be a starter in the NBA? a good one?

I think he's most likely a bench player, but that line is obviously blurring nowadays. Like, he's probably better than Pachulia, and Pachulia's starting for the Warriors, so...? :chuckle:

I do think he'll be a useful bench player though, not just a big-body journeyman who takes up space in the paint for 12 minutes a night. I noted earlier that he leads Euroleague in free throw attempt rate, and I think that's something that'll translate. The typical backup center in the NBA these days will struggle against his physicality.

Yeah. Most likely a Bench player, but I also don't like putting a ceiling on players... dunno. When you have Zaza, Henson, Baynes and others starting for teams, you never know.

I would welcome him in open arms though. Hard worker and he plays hard and those are always good traits to have.

Having more good players than you have minutes for is a nice problem to have. I wouldn't be distraught if he stays in Europe another year though, as I think he really does have a chance to improve his value even if his game doesn't change much. Should be a regular 25-30 mpg starter if Milan knows what's good for them, and then he'll contend for the All-Euroleague team and be on the radar for NBA teams looking to shore up their frontcourts.

Looks like next years draft is going to be incredibly top heavy.

Give me our pick baaaaaack.
I love getting caught up in drafts and all the build up and then excitement of draft night.

So I’d LOVE to have two picks in this draft.

But I’m pretty sure I’m happier than Nance than with anyone we would have gotten at 25 or 26

What would be cool is if PHX or ATL were able to draft MPJ and Jontay.

Nance is only playing 16 minutes a game coming off the bench and he is a bit stuck between positions for us. Doesn't feel like max value to me.

This draft is incredibly deep and I'm confident that there are going to be an all star late in the first and good starters up to the early second round. Two picks give you much better chances at drafting atleast one good player regardless of where you pick so it lowers our bust potential.

Lakers had Josh Hart ahead of Clarkson and Randle and Kuzma ahead of Nance in their future plans.I really feel like we could have gotten them without adding that pick and not paying Nance signicant minutes really bums me out when you consider that they were all about clearing that cap space and at the same time still have younger, cheaper, more promising and perhaps even better players at their respective positions , while also having absolutely no ability to re sign Nance once he becomes a RFA if they re sign Randle and sign max free agents like they intend to do.

It's just that we never seem to cash in and take advantage of other teams, while other teams seem to smell our desperation from miles away, and when we're do get a quality player, he barely plays or plays out of position.

I'm a draft junkie so it sucks, and I believe we lost value. In my mind it's not like we wouldn't have traded for Nance If the pick hasn't been included either.

Whatever, it's a thing of the past, but it happens every time. I'm definitely excited about the draft though.

I am operating under the assumption that his role will be larger in the playoffs and next year for certain.

If that doesn't bear out, it obviously changes his overall value a bit, but I still feel ok about a mid to late 20's pick essentially being used to get Nance
