The more I think about it, the more I feel both Miami and Wizards will win.

Miami will game-plan well to restrict Simmons. Completely slow the game down and have Simmons beat them in half court. Something he has yet to prove he can do. Spo is a great coach and they have done a relatively good job of making it tough for LeBron as well in the past. Simmons being a far more inferior offensive player will struggle as well. They have a wing like Josh Richardson who can guard Simmons, either heads up or in the post. They can also throw someone like a James Johnson at Simmons as well.

Whiteside is possibly the best big in the East to guard an Embiid. He can get exploited in PnRs but those are mostly against ball handlers who are good shooters. Also, both him and Embiid have beef. He will bring his A-Game.

As for Wizards, they underperformed massively this season and they have locker room issues. But, in terms of pure talent, especially the starting unit, they have a better starting unit than the Raptors. Raptors bench is elite while Wizards suck but they have had decent contribution from guys like Satoransky and Oubre this season. And both are solid role-players. Also, I am yet to see DeRozan and Lowry perform consistently through-out a 7-game series to be sold on them!

That's right. I'm going with SA. I don't believe it fully, but it could happen :)

I'm expecting zero sweeps, though I'll give a low chance to OKC sweeping Utah and then an outside shot of Washington just laying down against Toronto in 4 straight.
Wew doggy Rich what are you talking about

I have the Jazz winning that series but I also think it is by far the most up in the air series of round 1

But his fucking feelings are hurt. What a joke.

Yessss, build enmity between himself and the team.

So I can't figure out how to insert a spreadsheet, but we have an NBA playoffs contest at work I thought was pretty cool that I thought you guys might like. Basically you pick a bracket and you get points for each team you predict correctly. 10 points for each team you correctly predict to make it to round 2, 20 for each you predict to make it to the conference finals, 30 for each team you predict for the finals, and 50 points for predicting the winner.

But you also assign confidence points to how likely you view each event from 1-15. For instance, I am most confident the Cavs will beat the Pacers in round 1, therefore I assigned them 15 confidence points. If they Cavs do beat them then I get 10+15=25 points for this prediction. You can only use each confidence points once.

My bracket is below. I think it adds a fun wrinkle.

I know it's late in the game but @ACisKING @Rich @RG @NorthCoastBias @priceFTW @czvo could be fun
