If only the Pelicans could get a 2 guard, and have Rondo off the bench. They'd be a wrecking ball. They don't have enough depth. I don't like the Cousins mesh with Davis, personally.

I like Mirotic next to him better as a fit. If Cousins some how walks, not sure that is a bad thing, at all. Despite his talent, he's always been a problem to fit in as a unit.

His impact really wasn't that great. It's why I'm not a big fan of his. He puts up great numbers, but his impact doesn't make that kind of difference.

I actually think NO is better without him.

If Curry was there, I wouldn't expect much of a context. I could see it going 6 TBH.

i'm leaning more toward portland is/was overrated and they look great now, but that next round you'll see how much they miss cousins

Davis is clearly a better player without Cousins. His numbers sky rocketed when Cousins went down. And when they got Mirotic, things fell into place.

The Pelicans are in a bind. Cousins is a free agent. I know they'll try to retain him, I guess, but I rather roll with Mirotic personally.

He's been lights out next to Davis and Holiday. They just really need that tweener 2/3 that can shoot to be a serious threat.

I picked them to win the series, didn't expect a sweep though.

I wouldn't want to limit Nirotic's role. Look how big he was in this series? And what an impact he made. Him next to a player like Davis is pretty lit.

Curry will be back and the series won't go 7, but I still think it will be a bunch of tough, close games. New Orleans just has absolutely no semblance of a bench. A stud starting 5 and then it's a steep, steep fall.
