2018 NFL SEASON Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not only did she hit him in the face, but also called him the N word.

I'm all for protecting women but sometimes a bitch that wants to hit a man needs to be treated like a man. End of story.

Well, that's their side of the story. No idea if it's true or not, as the video has no audio.

Either way, what's really going to screw him over is continuing to go after her instead of just doing the smart thing and going back into his room. The little kick at the end is probably the nail in the coffin.

Edit: Chiefs sent Kareem Hunt home today, so apparently they agree that action is coming down from the NFL.

Yeah, it's unfortunate Kareem got himself into this situation. He shouldn't have done what he did, but the dramatization of the incident is so over-exaggerated. The headlines of him "brutalizing" a woman and people comparing it to Ray Rice? C'mon man. People aren't going to look into it, read the headline, and take it as fact. I almost didn't watch the video because of the severity of the headline, but I'm glad I did because the video actually helps his case that it was no brutalizing.

There was no direct shove even. He like knocked into his friend who fell into the woman. And the "kick" looked more like a shove with the foot that just knocked her off balance as she was trying to get up.

And I'm trying to be unbiased. It's worthy of a suspension, but people are trying to end his career over it.

Fauxrage culture at it again.

Yeah the headlines made it seem much worse than it was. I expected him to like throw some chick... brutalize??? not so much.

Brutalize was definitely over the top, but he's absolutely going to get a perfectly warranted suspension out of this. You can't shove around a woman on camera and then kick her while she's on the ground and not see any consequences.

He also shoved her first before she hit him, so the self-defense argument dries up real quick.

Also, lol at anyone who thinks this is gonna end his career. The NFL will do what they always do. They'll give him a slap on the wrist and sweep the whole thing under the rug. The only way a guy gets ousted from the league entirely is if all the teams coordinate to blackball him like they did with Kaep. The only things that truly have long-term consequences in the NFL are smoking weed or kneeling during the anthem. Hell, Reuben Foster beat his girlfriend at the team hotel and he got claimed off of waivers a few hours after his original team cut him.

Yikes. Just picked up Spencer Ware!

I'm so mad because I have Hunt and I get all these damn notifications from the espn fantasy app, yet they didn't send one for Hunt. Someone picked up Ware before I could.

I don't think they send something out until he actually gets suspended.

Yet they adjust the projected points. They will send me notifications about how they adjusted someone on my bench points and how they are going to out score one of starters by .2. It's just annoying. It would be nice for a notification of a starter being adjusted to zero points.

Download the Sleeper app and thank me later.

Not to highjack the thread, but comparing Kaep and Hunt by being blackballed is a silly comparison.
As fucked up as it seems, what Kaep did costs the teams and owners a lot more money and why Kaep isn’t playing now. While it definitely isn’t worse than what Hunt did, it’s all about the money and in that sense it is worse.
Not even sure i made sense there. lol
Hunt May get a few games, but eventually someone will have an example made out of him. Don’t forget, this isn’t his first time being an a incident with a girl. He allegedly punched his pregnant hf, but the gf said she “lied”. No video of that incident.
