The only other place I’d move Tomlin to on this team is the long man role in the bullpen and that can go out and eat some innings. That’s it. Dudes finished
 
How come you guys don't know how to do game threads?

First of all, you shouldn't allow people to vote after the series starts. 2nd of all, you should allow people to see who voted for what and shouldn't allow them to change their votes.

Tito was asked if he is considering playing Gonzo against lefties. That was poorly worded. What should have been asked is when are you gonna permanently bench a guy who hit 232 last season and at the quarter pole of the season is hitting a mind boggling 170. Gonzalez is also a much better fielder than the 14 million dollar a year man.

Francona just doesn't get it. This is not about playing your friend. It's about winning games.
 
And speaking of Tito's lunacy in mismanaging the team this year. Sunday's game had the tribe up 11-2 in the ninth. So who does he put in in this blowout? Andrew Miller. Yesterday's game was 3-2 in the 8th. So who does he put in? 2 horrible relievers. Francona needs to take remedial classes on how to a baseball team.

Game 1 was essentially decided before the thread even began. Also i want people to be able to change their minds, this isnt a presidential.vote where we are stuck with our horrible decisions in perpetuity.

Barebones threads can only be invoked when the team is slumping and should actually be barebones

Not right after the last one with more information than the average game thread.

There wasnt more information- a waste of information would have been if i listed pitcher wins, RBIs, batting average, or errors. Or pointing out how the rebuilding Tigers, who have had the same bad weather to deal with, are outdrawing the Indians so far.
