2018 Series #35 | Angels @ Indians | August 3rd, 4th, and 5th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You've mentioned this before and I just don't think it's necessarily true:

2.78 ERA in June, K/9 around 9, 3:1 K to Walk ratio

Now his July ERA was 4.85, but it's mostly weighed down by 2 bad starts vs. the Yankees and Reds. His other 3 starts are good to fine.

Not off to a good start tonight but we will have to ride it out to see.
Maybe it’s being spoiled by others — I just get the vibe when Mike starts you’re gonna need 4 or 5 runs to win the game...

The Indians have lost 5 of his last 6 starts. In 3 of those losses he only allowed 2 ER in each game, but the Indians only scored 1 total run combined.

So you may be onto something there. At least the offense struck back quickly tonight. Clev may not be going too far tonight with his pitch count where it is already.

Gomes left the game, apparently favoring his right leg

Tough break there.

Ball wasn’t hit hard at all, just an unlucky spot.

Brantley’s lack of range was pretty laughable on that Ohtani single too.

Cimber’s line going to look significantly worse than how he’s pitched.

Induced three very weak contacts so far this inning that just ended up in perfect spots.

Indians are a somewhat mediocre team....some good some bad...no real consistency this season
